Michael Earl James

Mike and Sandy met at Monte Vista High School and attended Grossmont College together. He became an Manager at several Safeway stores in the 1970's and then began his journey into Insurance which lasted 30 years.

Growing up under the hot sun of Imperial Valley his passions and hobbies would also involved warm temperatures. In his youth he enjoyed the River with his uncles and continued with his family and friends. His love of Fishing was apparent from the Colorado to La Paz.

Mike also enjoyed the desert where he had many adventures. From Nevada to the tip of Baja- Racing, Recreation, or just Relaxation- he enjoyed it all under the sun.

He also loved travelling to sunny, warm places. In his many travels with Sandy they set foot on four continents, many oceans and seas.

Mike will be missed. He is survived by a brother, sister, wife, two sons, and his three beloved grandchildren Javin, Jase, and Juliana.

Michael Earl James, age 75 passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

A funeral service for Michael will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
