Michelle was a 1 of a kind.. She was sweet funny smart wholesome she was a good friend a good wife.. There  is no one that can compare to her.. I was lucky to know her for 10 years .   10 years that I will cherish for rest my life... I miss you so much.. I love you so much . Until we meet again... 

I was so sorry to hear about Michelle's untimely death.    She was always one of my favorite employees.    Such a loss for her family.

Mona, when Baby Jaz called to tell me the news of your passing I told her I would have never thought you'd go before me. I also told her I had been thinking about you earlier that week. I was remembering our last encounter at Ski Beach for Jazmine's graduation celebration. When you arrived you walked over to me with open arms and the biggest smile shouting "Hi Evelyn!". That will forever fill my heart with peace knowing we shared a happy moment before your passing. 

To : Teodora, Arnoldo, Gabriel, Melissa & Jazmine - May the happy memories of Mona also fill your hearts with peace. My sincere condolences from my family to yours.

Michelle, I’m going to miss you so much! Getting the news of what happened to you, really shocked me. Why do all the good people have to go so soon? You will always have a special place in my heart ❤️ We became really close when I started working for EPS. The curly haired loud latinas in the office. As I sit here writing this I remember your laugh! You always made me laugh and you always had a positive outlook on things no matter how good/bad things were. Even though you left EPS, you always managed to send me a quick text or even a call, to see how I was doing. I will always hold our last conversation we had together deeply in my heart. I know God needed you in heaven and that’s why things happen, but I am definitely going to miss you! My condolences to her family and husband. May God grant you all the strength to help heal the pain of what you all are going through. Te extrañare siempre Michelle/amiga! 

I’m still in disbelief, and don’t even know how to write this .. Tia Mona you knew how much you meant to me, and not just me but to nevaeh .  It’s hard to know your not here with us and I ask why did this have to happen. You weren’t just my aunt but my mom, like a sister and my best friend.  I will cherish all the memories growing up with you and you being the person I looked up too, I always thought you were so cool and I wanted to be just like you, I will miss speaking to you every day after work to vent about our day on our drive home from work, I will miss our Saturday routine of Nevaeh going with you while I work and my nana coming over and all of us having lunch together.  What hurts me the most is you had the same bond with my daughter and I loved that because she got to see the cool aunt I saw at that age and how fun it was to have someone like you around always making me laugh and smile, your laugh was so contagious and on days I didn’t want to talk to no one , just hearing your voice and laugh would cheer me up.  My heart aches , my dad , my tio gaby , my nana and nevaeh love you SOOOO much, I don’t need to write all of this because I know us 6 knew the bond we all had.  It’s not a farewell I’ll see you soon… and don’t forget to visit me in my dreams . I love you Tia ..

My sympathy and love to Michelle’s family and friends.  Her loss is shocking and painful.  A beautiful soul departed much too soon.

Michelle has always held a special place in my heart as I watched her grow from a young  lady into a wife and legal professional over many years.  She had a knack for smiling even under stress, she wasn’t much for hugs so when there was a hugging moment we both knew it was super special, about twice a week she’d leave the office at the end of the day and come back ten minutes later for her phone or purse—which we both thought was funny, she was strong when dealing with medical issues and rarely complained, and she always shared pictures and endearing stories of her little pet bird.

Michelle loved her job and work.  We supported each other while transitioning jobs at the same time.  As she reflected on the time we shared together at the law firm she told me “I’m remembering all the good times and my growth professionally and personally.  I just miss the good, like our friendship and the work.  Believe it or not, I loved the work.”  When she landed a new position she she told me, “The new job is great.  I think I’m doing okay.”

She sent love and support to me and I to her.  In one of her last messages she remarked “Time flies.”  It’s cruel how true that is.  I was lucky to have Michelle in my life for ten years and she made a positive impression on me.

I’ll share her bitmoji, because it is how she saw herself and I think she nailed it.  Beautiful, smiling, curly hair, and emoting love and kindness.  That is the Michelle I know and who I will always remember.
