Nanay-

We thank God for allowing us to be with you in this world. The world you called home until you were called back to heaven. Here's to your smile, to your never-ending story, to your quirkiness when we are out and about on an adventure. We are saddened when you chose to join Tatay in heaven instead of extending your stay here on Earth to be with your children and your grandchildren. Although we had a tough time understanding your plans for us, we respected every decision you've made. I know you are happy now with Tatay. Thank you for everything. Your memories, life lessons, and guidance will continue to live on with us. The lessons you thought us to work hard will remain engraved in us. We won't be where we are today without guidance from first, the Lord Almighty God and then second your preachings as our mother. Thank you Nanay for your love.

Dear Nanay,

First and foremost, thank you for allowing me the chance to care for you for the past year. It was a time and experience that I have learned from and will hold dear to me for the rest of my life. The last years were full of fun times and as well as outings with the family. With the time left that fate allowed us together, I hope you enjoyed them so much. We worked hard so. that you could be comfortable and happy. I know that as much as you wanted to keep strong, I hope you know that I wouldn't trade anything for the times that I was able to assist and be with you. By being your caregiver, I was given a chance to spend lots of time with you and that always makes me happy (I hope that you always forgive me for the one small argument we had early in the morning. I regret it so much). Throughout everything, I hope you are proud of me as your granddaughter.
Salamat po sa lahat Nanay! I love you so much. I will never forget your gentle voice and laugh. Rest well now. You and Tatay are peacefully together again.

Nanay-

It is hard to accept you decided to leave us to be with Tatay. I can only imagine how difficult life must have been for you without Tatay by your side. Even if we wanted you to seek treatment to get better, you chose the path to not be a burden to us and to make our lives easier. I asked you before, how can I express or show you how much I love you and Tatay? How can I show you that everything I do is for your happiness and well-being. But you insisted not to accept my offer. Even though it was hard for me to accept, I know you and Tatay were satisfied with the life you have built. Don't worry about us, I will continue to complete and take care of everything you both left behind. I love you so much wherever you may be.

Hi Nanay! 
This is a hard goodbye. Thank you for being such a great Grandma to me. I loved when we used to have a party and I saw you laughing and smiling. You will always hold a special place in my heart. We will all miss you so much. Now you can finally see Tatay! We will all miss you. You can finally take a resting place. I will always miss you.

This is a very difficult message to write.  I am missing you each and every day. I miss your voice, your hugs and kisses.  Even though you are no longer here with me, I can still feel your loving guidance. I know you are with me always. I love you and I miss you dearly.
