“Our dear, sweet Nadja went to be with the Lord on the day after Christmas, 2017. Her steadfast dedication to faith and family inspired all who knew her. With her loving work now done here, we will always honor her brilliant legacy and wonderful spirit throughout our lives in all tasks and ways ahead. Her rare beauty and sincere kindness remain in our memories always. Survived by husband of 40 years, Jack Van Zandt, Imperial Beach, CA; daughter Sunny and her husband Jimmy Jengeleski and beloved grandson James, of Fortuna, CA. Son, Trey Van Zandt, wife Gina and beloved granddaughter Olivia of Ft Worth, TX. Brother, Victor Friese and wife Natalie, of Ft Worth, TX.
Nadja was a distinguished Veteran of the US Navy and a member of St Anthony’s Orthodox Christian Church.”
