Born on October 29, 1931, in San Carlos, Pangasinan, Philippines.
Titong proudly served in the United States Navy as a pipe fitter for 20 years with duty stations in Vietnam, Japan and San Diego. After retiring from the navy , he worked another 20 years civil service at Camp Pendelton in Oceanside, CA.
While in the service he met his wife, Lita and were married for a 59 years and loving father to his son, Raphael and daughters, Melissa and Marlyn.
Titong enjoyed his morning walks across the street to McDonald’s to meet up with his fellow “ McBuddies” retirees for breakfast and coffee. He enjoyed gardening in the front yard and had amazing orchids at one time known as the “Garden of Eden.” He often had his radio playing Filipino music to soothe his soul.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lita; 3 children Raphael, Melissa (John), and Marlyn (Cecil); 5 grandchildren Joshua (Samantha), Madeline, Grace, Faith, and Timothy. Titong is also survived by his sister Remy and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902 on August 30, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm. Followed by Funeral Service from 12 pm to 1 pm and Graveside service at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
