Norberto Reyes Aguilera

Norberto Reyes Aguilera was born on June 7, 1955 in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. His parents were Quirino Aguilera Jr and Norma Reyes Aguilera. He is the 2nd of 7 children. He is survived by his wife (Evangeline), his children (Ethel, Nathan, Nadia, and Neil), and his grandson (Noah).

Norberto and Evangeline met via letter correspondence, they were pen pals. They united their love on June 2, 1979.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. And was a U.S. Customs officer for 17 years. He was the president of the Lipa City Association of San Diego, CA from 1997-1999, and continued to be active within the group for many years.

Norberto was a wonderful husband, great father to his children, loving brother to his siblings, and good son to his parents. He had a big heart, helped many extended family and friends when in need.

A visitation for Norberto will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glen Abbey's Main Chapel, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A second night of visitation will occur Friday, January 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, also at Glen Abbey's Main Chapel. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Mary's Catholic Church, 426 E Seventh Street, National City, CA 91950. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
