When Olga was 22 years old, she met and fell in love with Ira, a Navy sailor stationed in Cuba. Soon after welcoming their first son, Bobby, together, Ira and Olga married, and hopped aboard a flight to America. Their second son, Ira Jr., was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma and their youngest son, Kelvin came along after the family was stationed in Exmouth, Australia. In 1971, the family came back to California, settling in San Diego - their first home on Rexview Drive and their next on Magellan Street.
Olga led a life of service. Sprinkled with faithful membership to groups like the Order of the Eastern Stars and the Red Hat Society, she had a heart to not only connect with others, but to serve them.
Olga was preceded in death by her husband Ira, her youngest son Kelvin, and her sister Daisse. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory, her two sons, Bobby (Caroline) and Ira, Jr., daughter Tonya, her niece Anita (and family), her brother Frank Scott (and family), her 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of close relatives and friends.
