

Opal Darlene Oliver was born on August 4, 1955 to Vergie Lou Franklin and Benjamin Franklin she went to high school in Elton Louisiana was she where she graduated then at 19 was married to David Lawrence Oliver.
Then in Dec 17 1975 she had her one and daughter Ritisko Oliver.
Where her family resided in Eunice till
she moved to California in 1986 with mother and daughter. Where she promised them to work hard and support them. Opa! Was a student at Pacific Coast College where she became an instructor then moved on to Platt college. Where she became, I financial, aid director career of 26years was awarded the highest honor in her field The Norma Ford award which is awarded to the Financial aid Director in Southern California Opel career and dedication became what she called her
PLATT family. Opal said she wouldn't be who she is today. If it wasn't from her amazing boss Mr.Lieker in
OPEL was devout, christian and love, sharing her walk with the lord.All the time she rejoice with her music and her ministries. Opel was a member of Lake view Church under the Pastor Milton Foster Then she dedicate her last days with Community baptist Church under the Pastor Richard White She has had a lot of happy and fond memories in her church Opel was most pleased when she was creating beautiful and creative meals even in her tough time she still had energy give her family and her friends the best Southern and creole cuisine !!!She preceded in death her Father Benjamin Franklin Mother Vergie Lou Franklin and her Favorite niece Mia Carrington

with her daughter Ritisko Oliver of California and her one and only Granddaughter ( her love of her life)Yarian Lewis of California and Special Brother Ray Kidd of Atlanta also 3 sisters and nieces and nephews with all her friends.
