

Pamela Kay Hensley was at the age of 69 when she passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in Bonita, California. Pamela was born on August 22, 1956 in Louisiana to her parents Norman Perkins and Karla Perkins of Wisconsin.
Pamela began working in JCPenney's department store in 1974. She worked as a part time associate. Pamela worked her way up to manager of women's fashion and overseeing fine jewelry in the Plaza Bonita Store. When the Plaza Bonita store opened, she was the one who oversaw the grand-opening.
Pamela was a huge influence on many of her fellow coworkers and mentored many of them. Many people who worked with her attributed their growth to her.
During her career in JCPenney's, she met her husband, Gonzalo Hensley. On March 12, 1983 Pamela and Gonzalo got married. Together they spent their time traveling all over the world. After taking on the world, Pamela and Gonzalo tin can camped, then RV camped everything west of the Rockys. They visited many National Parks because Pamela was an avid tree lover. She loved walking amongst nature and sharing these experiences with her husband.
Pamela had the most cheerful attitude that she brought everywhere. She will be truly missed by all.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Gonzalo Hensley, her brother Norman and his wife Jan Perkins and their daughter, Ashley Perkins.
