Paulina Tuano Alota, fondly called Poleng by all, was born in Manila, Philippines on August 15, 1926. She migrated is Guam, USA in 1976 and moved to San Diego, California thereafter. She passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013 at Scripps Mercy Hospital.
Her children and children’s children promised her that they would love and support each other. She leaves her children Alberto (Zenaida), Lourdes (Andoni), Rosemarie (Danny), Lani (Emil), Bj (Patty) and Jojo (Gigi) with tears and smiles. She instills the importance of family. She is our mother the greatest influence in our life. She is the kind of mother that puts her children before anything else including her own comfort and happiness. We will always remember her smiles. Every year there is a day set aside to celebrate the role of a mother. This day is called Nanay Poleng’s Day and her Legacy will always be remembered. We Love You Nanay and We will always will.
