

Everyone’s life is the sum total of all of the people they have met, the things they have done, the places they have gone. Petronila was no exception. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Petronila will be remembered as an exceptional person.
Petronila’s life journey began on May 30, 1920. She first greeted the world in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines. Her parents' were Juan and Gertrudes Arcelona. She was raised in the Philippines along with three brother’s Anecito Arcelona, Glicerio and Juan Arcelona Jr., and two sisters Natividad Ayson and Maxicama Capitali.
Falling in love is a huge milestone for any person. Just knowing that you have met that special someone is a magical feeling. Petronila experienced that with Ramon Perias. The wedding took place in the city of Lingayen, Pangasinan Philippines. Empathic and loyal, Petronila was committed to making her new family happy.
A person's hobbies often mirror who they have become. Petronila enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities, including cooking, gardening and reading. She was usually willing to share her interests with others.
Petronila Arcelona Perias left us on September 14, 2012. She passed away Reo Vista Health Care Center in San Diego, California. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Charles Catholic Church in San Diego, California on Friday, September 28, 2012. Petronila was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
