Phillip served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 22 years. He married Vilma Lagrimas (now deceased) while stationed in Hawaii in 1946 and together they had 5 sons, who survive him: Phillip Jr. (Aurora), Ernest (Darlene), Ronald (Sandie), Patrick (Patricia) and Randolph.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Rudolph and Ruben, one sister, Lita, and numerous nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed.
