

Puso Jimenez, age 83, was born to Salvador and Romana Salcedo in Bani, Pangasinan. She was the youngest of six siblings. She attended Agno Elementary School in Pangasinan and Kamuning High School in Quezon City. She met her would-be husband, Virgilio Jimenez, Sr. while attending college at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. They were married for 56 years.
Puso had a successful career working for Civic Leaders and Politicians in the Philippines. She was also an active member of her community, serving as the Barangay (smallest Filipino political unit) Secretary. After migrating to the United States in 1992, she worked for multiple production companies until her retirement.
Puso will be remembered as a selfless wife and mother who had a quiet strength. She enjoyed gardening, being in nature, playing mahjong with her family and friends, and going to the casino.
Puso was predeceased by her parents, Salvador and Romana; her husband, Virgilio Sr.; her son, Virgilio Jr.; her brothers, Ricardo and Bayani. She is survived by her sisters Socorro, Milagros, and Misterio; sons Nathan (Diana), Jonas (Eve), Jojie (Marianne); daughters Michelle (Joey), and Marilou; daughter-in-law Gemma; grandchildren Angel, Virgil, Joshua, Jason, Warren, Julia, Adrian, Jaiden, Chance, Abed, Elijah, Malakai, Khali, and Kaelani; great granddaughter Kianne; her dog Pen.
