

Ramon “Monet” Jaque Mucho Jr. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered as someone who helped others unconditionally, an animated storyteller, and crafty basketball player. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on November 8, 2023, in Chula Vista, California.
Ramon Jr. was born to Aquilina and Ramon Mucho Sr. on March 8, 1950, in Iloilo City, Philippines. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elenita Mucho, his children, Michelen Teran (Carlos), Cherrylin Wiedmann (Maximilian), and Ramil Mucho (Madeline), his grandchild, Charlie Leon Teran, and his three sisters, Corazon Mucho, Aurora M. Roxas (Rolando), and Rosario M. Cassel and her late husband, James.
He worked as an HVAC Mechanic as a Civilian for the Department of Defense for over 35 years. Ramon was a devout Catholic – a long-time parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and an active Couples for Christ member. He was known for his love of pets, gardening, sports, wrist watches, and cars.
A visitation at the Magnolia Room for Ramon will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A funeral mass at Corpus Cristi Catholic Church will occur Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A committal service will occur Monday, November 20, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.
