Reming Jauregui Gabriel Jr was born on October 20, 1980 to parents Reming and Arcelia Gabriel in San Diego, California. He graduated from Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, CA with the class of 1998 and began a prominent career within the US Government including services with the US Border Patrol. While serving in the Border Patrol, Reming was a part of the AMU and BORTAC Units. He was proud to serve his country. After the learning of his epilepsy, he was later medically retired and lived the remainder of his years at home with his wife and children. He and his wife Vanessa, enjoyed their family vacations to the Redwoods in Northern California. This yearly vacation became a very important part of their lives as the woods brought him and his family a sense of peace and happiness. His favorite hobbies included working on his car, collecting Starwars memorabilia and cooking the best meals for his family and friends. He was especially good at smoking meats. He was an individual with a big heart who loved his children and wife more than anything.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa, his four children Alexia, Isabella, Christian and Arie; his father Reming B Gabriel and mother Arcelia Gabriel; his two brothers Richard and Ryan Gabriel and of course, his service dog named Olaf.
Services for our beloved Reming will be held beginning Friday, 23 August, 2019 with a viewing and prayer service at Glen Abbey in Bonita, CA from 5pm-10pm.
