He was born on July 18, 1955 to Rudolfo and Francisca Contreras. As a teenager he fell in love with a remarkable young lady, Martha L. Vazquez, who he went on to marry on April 20, 1974. Together they created a beautiful family having three lovely daughters and four grandchildren.
He worked hard as a carpenter all of his career, but took the greatest enjoyment in being a wonderful father and grandfather. He was never one to say no to any request they may have had.
Ricardo is survived by his wife Martha, his daughters: Yeseña, Francisca and Vanessa. His handsome grandsons: Rolando, Jaden, Alec and Adrian as well as his father, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a legacy of giving with love and laughter that his family will carry in their hearts forever.
Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. Ricardo G. Contreras was later laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
