

Ricky was a devout member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) and found solace and strength in his faith. By the grace of God, he defied the odds and lived longer that the life expectancy for his condition, demonstrating incredible resilience and a love for life. Despite his disability, Ricky led a fulfilling life marked by his passion for food and cinema. He was a foodie at heart, always eager to try new cuisines and share the experience with others. Known for his friendly disposition and generosity, Ricky will always be remembered as the guy who wore a beanie and a scarf even when it was sunny and 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside! His quirks were part of his charm and added warmth to his personality.
His greatest joy was attending the worship service.
Ricky now rests peacefully with his father, Gil Q. Castillo and is survived by his mother Nieves Castillo, his Sister Hazel Aquino and husband Gerwayne, his brother Eric Castillo and wife Lerry Ann, his nephews Gil Nathan and EJ, and his dog Bowie.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
