Richard Dale Combs, age 65, died from health complications on 01/31/21. Born on 09/29/1955 to Richard Thomas Combs and Jo Ellen Maxson. He was an individual who wanted to show others that he was always going to fight the greatest waves and storms. In his late teens, he knew he wanted to join the U.S. military, but followed a different path from his father. He became a chief petty officer in the military that was proud to serve in the US Navy and loved what he did as an Operations Specialist. He was a recognized chief and accomplished so much during his 24 years in the military and working as an Adjudication Officer with Homeland Security, thereafter. He loved to watch baseball and enjoy a cold cut subway sandwich while listening to the musical stylings of The Beatles and The Beach Boys. His favorite things to do were to collect baseball cards, coins, and watch a multitude of shows and movies with his family. He was an amazing husband to his wife Milagros Derilo Combs and a Loving father to his three children Jade Sheena Combs Frilles, Jasminemae Vereynato Combs, and Richard Jarrett Combs. He is also known as a loving and proud grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren, Jaden Kai Combs-Frilles and Christian Kenji Frilles. A great father-in-law and another father figure to Christian Frilles, Rael Ebba, and Melanie Medina. And lastly, a loving older brother to his three younger sisters Nancy Combs Beben, Tamara Combs Stone, and Kimberley Combs. As well as a great uncle to their respective children. Richard Combs is deeply loved and cherished in his family. Had always shown great pride in the legacy he called his children and grandchildren. He always had something to talk about and ask. As well as he always voiced his matters on that he was annoyed by the littlest things. But Richard knew to speak his mind and always let others know what the problem was. Dale was a man that had more to see in life. Even though he was besides himself, before leaving he had enjoyed his time surrounded by his family members and knew that he was always showered with love at home. Your family will always miss you dearly Richard, but you'll always be at home in a different way now.
Rest easy chief and sail away to many shores. Always remembered and loved forevermore.
