Robin Michael Dagan

Michael (Robin Michael) Dagan passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on July 25, 1958, Michael grew up in Bonita, California, where he formed lifelong friendships and became known for his love of sports, his competitive spirit, and his unwavering loyalty.

A proud graduate of Bonita Vista High School, Michael excelled as a varsity baseball player. His passion for athletics extended far beyond the playing field and remained a constant throughout his life. Whether watching, playing, or talking sports, Michael's enthusiasm was contagious.

Although Michael had no children, he leaves behind his Aunt, Jimalene Jensen, and three cousins, Sandy, Delise, and Janee, along with a large extended family Debra, Bill, Jacob and William Dunning; Michael, Michele, Brian and Vance Raso as well as lifelong friends who loved him like a brother. His kindness, sense of humor, strength of character, and genuine concern for others created friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Those who knew Michael from childhood remember his natural leadership. One lifelong friend recalls organizing neighborhood "Summer Olympics" in Bonita when Michael was just seven years old. Even then, Michael inspired those around him, teaching lessons about determination, physical and mental toughness, teamwork, and leading by example. Those qualities stayed with him throughout his life and became part of the legacy he leaves behind.

Michael will be remembered for his generous heart, his competitive spirit, his quiet strength, and his ability to bring people together. His influence lives on in the countless friends and loved ones who were fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Michael's life on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California. Viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will follow from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at La Bella Pizza in Chula Vista, where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor Michael's remarkable life.

Though Michael is no longer with us, his example, friendship, and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
