Good morning dear sister, I miss you.  Sometimes when I call your house, I hear your voice on the machine and it makes me smile. Your family is doing well, but we miss you everyday.  Especially your big laugh which sounded just like dad's.  I hope you are laughing everyday.

Robin was a great friend and companion.
I know she is reading these notes, I will always remember her.

Robin and I were classmates and sorority sisters (Gamma Rho Alpha) at Western High School.  Robin was so much fun and so easy going.  She was a joy to be around.  We shared so many fun times together.  I will always have fond and loving memories of her.  My warmest and deepest condolences to Robins family.   I watched the Memorial Service for Robin today and am so grateful that I could be there if only virtually.  Once again, my deepest sympathies to her family and friends.  God bless you all and God bless Robin.  May she Rest In Peace. 

I went to high school with Robin and we shared many wonderful times together as brother and sister in her sorority and my fraternity.  Parties, trips to Ocean City, MD and never forget Battery Kimble Park.  We lost touch after graduation as I was drafted into the Army.
Very saddened to learn of your passing, may you rest in peace and my deepest sympathy to your family.

Robin was beautiful, by any measure. A great laugh, dry humor and  honest to a fault.  If you ever wanted a straight answer, Robin would give it to you.  She loved animals, cared deeply about people and very little about things.  She was never one to be the center of attention or to put her needs above anyone else's.  Robin listened when you spoke and thought carefully before answering.

I didn't get to meet Robin until I was 8 or so.  She had come to live with us while attending college in San Jose.  Always kind, I never understood her patience for her younger siblings, but will never forget it.   She seemed so worldly and mature.

To put that last statement in perspective, I want to tell you something you may not know.  At the young age of 18, Robin chose to study different cultures and races.  She wanted to understand not just those around her, but around the world.  Growing up on the east coast in a fairly isolated environment, she was aware of the disparities.   As many recall, the late sixties were a turbulent time, not unlike today.  I think Robin was deeply aware that we all needed to learn about others, generations before it became so fashionable to say so.  She knew this was critical to understanding the unrest and wanted to know how to make the world a better place.

Robin began this journey by changing her own ideas and perceptions, never telling others what they must do or think, only what she wanted to accomplish.  This was just like Robin, always looking to see how she could help and always ready to do what needed to be done.  

Without question, Robin succeeded.  My wish is that we could all be a little more like Robin.

Growing up I always loved going to Uncle Johnny and Aunt Robin’s house with my grandpa. It was a mix between possibly running into my cool older cousin Jenn,  how fun it was getting playfully picked-on by Uncle John and how sweet Aunt Robin always was to me. There was a kindness in the her voice that always made me feel welcomed and cared for. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. I only wish I could have known Aunt Robin back in her bell-bottom wearing hay day. Love you Aunt Robin and thank you for all of the love you shared with the Gomez family.

This morning I woke up thinking of our lovely Aunt with a smile because she always was so bubbly and bright.  Great way to start my day.  Yesterday during Aunt Robin's service it was truly beautiful with the music of her era and hearing of the tapestry of her young life with her Sister and Brother who loved her so.  I feel for my Uncle and Cousin Jen who will now be without her, I am so sorry.  I love you Uncle Johnny and Cousin Jen and may you both be warmed by each other through this time.  I will miss her and her bright spirit.  Warm Hugs.........thinking of you.

She rocked the short haircuts and belly bottom pants! She had a huge heart. 
She was genuine and her friendship was true.  An elegance to everything she did. I was very lucky she was my loving aunt.

Dearest Uncle Johnny, Cousin Jenn, Raeden, and Family,
It is difficult to to put all my thoughts into words that fully expresses how much I will miss Aunt Robin and just how much she was loved.  I wish I could take away the pain and ease the loss of one who meant so much to our family and friends. Family was very important to Aunt Robin, she loved her family so much!  Her thoughtful love she gave so freely to all of us will go on living through her beautiful memories; her smile, her laughter, and her loving spirit will be held dear in my thoughts and my heart, never to be forgotten.

To my dear cousin, Robbie-Dobb.
For many years, we lived on opposite ends of the country.  But that didn't stop   our closeness and love for each other. 
We shared many wonderful memories growing up. 
It was such a special time when you came to visit Aunt Betty, Uncle Norm, Betsy and I. You were like a sister to me. And how you loved meals made by Aunt Betty, who was a fabulous cook.

Holidays were the best when you were with us. I remember when our 2 dads got up on the roof Xmas eve to fix the antenna. We girls thought it was Santa and his reindeer. Of course our parents went along with it and told us we needed to go to bed straight away, otherwise Santa wouldn't come. 

As we got older, we enjoyed visits to  NYC,  Alexandria, VA, and to Ocean Pines, in the house that Uncle Norm built.   
I was thrilled when you made the trip to Rochester for my wedding in October, 1988. You couldn't believe it was snowing and took pictures.
I was so glad to be able to visit you all several times, but wish there had been many more. 
I love you and miss you!

To my loving sister, Robbie,

I give thanks God put you in my life.  I loved being around you!  You were beautiful inside and ou! When I was young, you helped me to grow into a young woman, you showed me how to embroider, crewel work, and sew on a sewing machine.  As I got older, I shared things that  I didn’t want to share with Mom and Dad.  You were my confidant many times.

My favorite memory of you is that you were my matron of honor when I married Greg.  I’m so glad that you moor to meet Greg. It meant so much to us that you all were at our wedding.  Thank you for buying my wedding shoes.  They were strappy  with a tall heal.  I danced all night, and you were on the floor with me. 

 And thank you for coming to Carolyn’s baby shower for Alleigh and David and Megan’s wedding reception.  It meant a lot!

For many years, you have had so much pain.  I know you are at peace in our Lord’s arms.  No more pain!  I hope to see you in a few years.  

Don’t worry, we plan to stay in touch with Johnny, Jennifer and Raeden!

Every time you called me Sissy, I felt your love for me.  Thank you for loving me especially in times when I wasn’t so loveable!

It was such an honor to meet this amazing woman. I am grateful I got to see you for the last time. It was always great coming to your home and you were the first to always greet me. My Aunt Robin was a beautiful woman. I loved seeing her and uncle Johnny together driving there antique sports car back in the day. They were always so happy together! She was always very happy loving and attentive to everyone. She will be missed. I love you and Robin may you rest in peace.
