As a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Rogelio served his country with honor and integrity as a mess management specialist. After his military career, he continued to dedicate more of his time working in environmental services at Balboa Naval Hospital.
He is survived by his children, Julie and Joel; daughter-in-law Katherine; three beloved grandchildren, Rainen, Kevin and Justin, who called him "Elong;" his brother Oscar; and sisters Atchie, Loih, and Minerva. His love for fishing, watching sports on TV, and all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on December 8, 2025 at Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
