At the age of 67, Romeo C. Gain went to be with his Lord. Romy passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 in Chula Vista, CA surrounded by his family and friends. He is now at peace and is an angel watching over us all.
Romy was born on December 15, 1949 in Imus, Cavite in the Philippines. After studying in school, he went on to enlist in the United States Navy and in doing so, he was able to bring his parents to the United States, who then brought the rest of the family. Romy loved his life in the U.S. Navy and built life-long memories and friendships. In 1974, he married and had three children.
Romy was very kind and generous. He always put others before himself and tried to help everyone in any way he could. He helped his two younger sisters get through college so it’s no surprise he always showered everyone with gifts. Known for his sense of humor, one of his favorite sayings was “No pain no Gain.”
Romy is survived by his three children; his three sisters and brother-in-law; two nephews; four grandchildren; and his best friend.
For those who are unable to attend and would like to send gifts, the family has created a website at www.youcaring.com/romeocgain
