Hi Nanay. 

It has been almost 5 years since you took your final vow from your sufferings here on earth. We still miss you a lot, Ate and I talk about you all the time especially when we are going through the aches and pains of getting old. We always compare our sufferings with yours and realize what you really went through. We didn't think much of those times and sometimes we thought you were just trying to get our attention and sympathy which you knew you always got. Now that Ate had her major back surgery, she has put herself in your situation and made her realize what aches and pains really are. You were a strong woman, patient, loving, caring and so generous in every way. You showed your children very good example of being a mother and a friend. I miss you a lot when I go to San Diego to visit. The first place I always go to is your room which does not look the same anymore as Ate and Kuya Boy decided to stay there permanently. I miss cooking breakfast for you because I know you were always looking forward to that. We miss going to Walmart with you. Now , Ate goes there with her walker and sit on it when she gets tired. I hope you are resting peacefully in the most beautiful place ever where everything is heavenly with the love of our God. Please continue to guide us like you always did. We know you were there when I got sick that night. You called my Ate and she heard you so she came to my aid. Thank you so much. Rest in peace, Nanay. Someday, we will be together again. Two years ago last night, I felt like I was just watching a very sad movie but felt the blow in my heart. I couldn’t believe it was you I saw leave this life. Until I came over and saw your name on that stone with an ending date. Flood waters started from my eyes that wouldn’t stop. I washed your name with my tears as I rubbed your hand over that stone. Then I knew I had to say goodbye. I still talk to you every morning and night and pray that someday I will see you again. I love you and miss you so much 🙏😢❤️🌹💐

This was your first babysitting job - to take care of Ireene and Grace when they were tiny babies. You were both heaven sent. And now heaven took you both back. Our loss became angels. I miss you so much, Mommy and Daddy. Please continue to watch over your loving family here and keep filling us with your love. I love you both so much. Rest in peace. See you again some day.

I remember you waking up before dawn to go to the river in Poquoson, VA to meet the fishermen docking from their fishing. We would buy several pounds of SPOT which we all love even now. You both enjoyed cleaning them, cooking some and freezing some for future use. I remember taking dozens of frozen fish with me when I traveled to San Diego so you could still enjoy them.

Also in Newport News, VA, you enjoyed tending to our vegetable garden. You both were there early in the morning to water the plants and pick some vegetables that you cooked for my family and Nene's family. It was very nice having you both with us.

You came to Virginia and we took you on that river cruise on the Spirit of Washington. I could tell you enjoyed it and had a wonderful time. Tatay even had a good appetite and ate all his meal.

I miss you Nanay. Everyday at 11:00 in the morning my time in Florida, I wanted to call you because that is the usual time I used to talk to you for whatever comes to our mind. Several mornings I had to call my Ate and tell her I miss calling you. I had to call Joey too because I know he misses talking to you too. I called him yesterday to see how he is doing. He said he doesn't know how to call you on weekends because he said he usually calls you on weekends. We are still crying over our loss. You are very much missed Nanay. I wish you were still here so we can talk to you but on the other hand, we are relieved that you are no longer suffering. I know Tatay is very glad to have you there with him again. And I told Raquel it is her turn now to enjoy your company. Rest in peace Nanay. You will always be in our hearts. We love you so much.

You treated me and my family like your own family. I am so grateful for you.  I will never forget our great memories together with your big smile, giggles and puzzles. I am lucky to witness your love with Tatay. It was magical. I still remember when he took a high chair from McDonalds when they were going to toss it out and gave it to me for my kids. You were always thinking of our family. We love you

To our dearest Nanay Osang, it's been like almost 6 years the last time we saw you when we were there July 2014 but you're always in our heart. You're like a second mother to us. Before we left, I hug you coz I think that it will be the last time I will see you alive since we don't travel a lot. We were not able to see tatay Idiong when he passed away and we're so sorry that we can't see you either especially  with the corona virus situation. We're going to miss u but you are with tatay Idiong and ate Raquel now. We love u and may you rest in peace.

You were married when you were just 18 years old during the Japanese Occupation. It was attended by Itang Apio, Itang Bino and some elderly relatives who Tatay asked to be there with you. On your 50th wedding anniversary, we gave you a wedding that you will hold forever in your heart and in our hearts. You were very deserving of this extravagant wedding. Nanay,

I will always remember all the pajamas and pillow cases you made for all of us. I will always remember how happy you were to see us everytime we visited, everytime we called and how you made sure we always had something to eat. We are all very lucky to have a Nanay that loved us no matter what. I miss you now and will miss you the days to come. You will always be in our hearts. 

 I love you Nanay. 

I will miss you Nanay. I will always remember doing puzzles and coloring together.  You had your puzzle set up with all the pieces separated and your tweezers.  I will treasure the the framed puzzles you gave us.  I loved sitting next to you and holding your hand and hugging you.  I liked when you shared the story of when Aaron was a child and fed you crackers that he licked.  I liked when you shared your pregnancy journey- you drank milk and the baby was born fair skinned, and the next baby you ate eggplant and the baby was born tan.  You also said to avoid scary cartoons, like yoda.
Rest in peace Nanay, and I miss you and I love you very much.

On April 29th, 2020, God traded angels with me.

That morning, heaven sent down an angel in my firstborn daughter, Avery Paige Toledo, and later that evening welcomed Nanay to take her place in heaven. For the past few months, Nanay new her health was deteriorating but her heart and mind were as strong and sharp as always. On every visit, call, and Facetime with her, she reminded us that she wanted to be around for Avery’s birth.  Nanay stayed true to that statement, even when Avery arrived 11 days late, and that was a testament to how Nanay lived her life. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She was selfless in every way, raised amazing children, and inspired countless numbers of grandchildren (myself included) and great grandchildren. We are all better people for having her in our lives.  

Nanay, we love you and will miss you, but we promise to never forget how you raised us. We promise to raise Avery with the same values that you instilled in us, and when we go astray, I know you and Tatay will be watching us from heaven to guide us back down the right path. Love you, Nanay. Rest in peace and give Tatay a hug for us.

Inay, we love you, and we will miss you.  Thank you for your love and  care, and for helping baby sit our children Aaron and Andrew.  You are the best Mother and Grandmother.  The day the Lord took you from us, April 29 2020 is very memorable for us.  Your first great grand-daughter from Aaron and Nicole was also born the same  date.  The night before her birth, i whispered in your ears that Nicole is in the hospital giving birth.  You opened your eyes and gave me a big smile.  The next day Ate Nita whispered in your ears that the baby was born at 2:30 pm, and at 9:55 pm you had your last breath.  We will miss you and we love you.  We will never forget you and Tatay.  You may rest in peace in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  







Inay, we know you prayed a lot.  You prayed for a long life.  Even passed 90 years old, you were still praying for healthier, longer life.  But when you get sick you pray not to wake up when you sleep.  Well you are healthier now.  You have no pain.  You don’t have to worry about anything now.  You are in paradise with your family who went before you.  Inay, you are in peace.  We love you and we miss you.

Zhau still looks for you.  She remembers you, I think.  Maybe wondering why you are not in your room.  

Inay had very good memory.  She remembered names of her nieces and nephews that I did not even know.  After Tatay passed, she kept herself busy with puzzles.  She was very good at it.  Even Ate Nita got better with putting together puzzles.  They even put them on frames and gave them away as gifts or remembrance.  Visitors brought her boxes of puzzles.  Puzzles were addicting.  Ditse, got hooked on puzzles when she visited Inay.  I was also doing puzzles with her when I visit her.

Inay, thank you for your love and care.   I don’t remember you getting mad at us.  Even when we killed over a dozen chickens when we put them in the big “tapayan” and closed it.  We would come late after school playing basketball knowing we had chores to do.  You will just say don’t forget to feed the chickens and pigs.  We do that before we can have dinner.

Reagan with her great grandparents! I guess this can look like any Filipino baby but it’s Reagan! Tatay passed away when she was still a baby but Marcus remembers him well. They both have been looking at pictures with me, of them with Nanay. All the photos make them smile and say, “I remember that!”

Nanay was the queen of puzzles! Mark and Reagan started this puzzle days ago. Mark said he’s aiming to finish before Saturday in honor of Nanay! This picture was just taken today.. we’re making progress for you, Mare! (Every time we visited Nanay, I’d greet her with, “Ano ba, mare? Ano ginagawa?” :) 

Nanay, you were so full of love, and I praise God for such an amazing gift of a grandmother!  Even as rowdy as I was when I was little, you continued to pour your grandmotherly love into me.  You and Tatay were huge reasons I enjoyed visiting San Diego, and when I got stationed there, I felt so blessed to be able to visit you whenever I wanted!  Karin and I are so thankful that you were able to make the trip to our wedding in January of 2018.  We know it was a difficult trip for you to make, and we didn't even hesitate to get your plane tickets to join us!  Karin and I are also very blessed that we were able to visit you for your last Christmas here on earth.  Although we can no longer enjoy your physical presence, we have solemn joy in our hearts that you are enjoying eternal life free from the bonds of your worn, earthly body and in the arms of our Heavenly Father.  We love you, Nanay, and we cherish all the memories that we have of you!

I still can’t believe you’re not with us. Yesterday was Mother’s Day and it wasn’t the same. I loved watching you come through our door with your walker. I knew it wasn’t easy to get around but you would do it for us.
I was fortunate to have had you close by growing up. Both you and Tatay took care of Grace and I when my mom worked nights and my dad was overseas. .. you had the pleasure of dealing with teenagers.
As an adult you shared your life stories with me -the road was not easy for you yet you pulled through and raised 7 kids, came to the United States and helped with the grandchildren.   I was thankful to see you enjoy your great grandchildren and it was a gift  for my kids to grow up having  great grandparents ❤️. You do so much for others and ask little in return.

Dear Nanay,

Saying goodbye and being by your side during your last hours until you drew your last breath was hard. I felt sadness and was helpless.  All I can whisper was “sorry” repeatedly for not being able to make you feel better.

I will always be grateful to you for raising my husband and helping to raise my 2 children and for treating me like one of your own.  You were so caring, loving and generous.

I will miss your stories regardless if I know the characters in your stories or not.  I will never forget the first time you told me a story. You had a poultry of hundreds of chickens and pigs in the Philippines. How all your sons took part in raising the chickens and pigs,  feeding, cleaning and selling them. How you turned your hard days work to a family involved bearable activity. You raised 7 children and was able to help both ends meet.  I was  very impressed and admired your personality.

You’ve done good Nanay! You raised  a successful family and well rounded children.  Your dedication to your family will never be forgotten.  

Happy Mother’s Day in Heaven. Please say hi to Inay for me.

Paul and Nanay (Paul and Myrna's 25 Wedding Anniversary)

MY MEMORIES OF YOU, NANAY.

I remember Ate and I would have matching outfits that you made, including matching shoes and ribbons for our hair; even little purses that you learned how to make. When we were in high school, Ate and I would go to dances in school even if Tatay didn’t want us to go. You always took the heat for us. You taught us how to cook, how to do laundry the right way, and how to sew. Very helpful.

In 1970, I, came to the United States and after 5 years of being a permanent resident, I was awarded my US citizenship in a court in San Francisco, CA. I was able to bring you into the country in May, 1976 at the age  of 50 and lived with me and my family in Treasure Island, California. Soon a month after, my baby girl, Ireene was born. You started the difficult job of babysitting four grandchildren. My son, Ernie or Boyet, was 2-1/2 years old at that time, mischievous and a real boy in every way. And then Kuya Boy got deployed on the USS Ranger for 6 months to the west Pacific. Ate Nita and the two girls, Donna, 5 years old and Grace, 4 months old, stayed with us in the housing in Treasure Island. Ate Nita and I would leave for work early in the morning and come back late each day leaving you with 4 kids. Several times, my son, Ernie, would disappear through the back door. You would put Grace in the stroller, Donna walking beside you and left Ireene, the baby, at home, looking for Ernie. You went around the housing area and would finally find him with the help of one of our neighbors. I know it was my son who stressed you the most. When Ate and I came home at the end of the day from work, you would hand the children over to us and lie down in your room, with your blood pressure elevated. These went on for 6 months until Kuya Boy came back after his deployment.


You wouldn’t let Ireene sleep in her crib. The baby slept on your bed because you said the baby needs the feel of the mother next to her. Whenever you checked your blood pressure in the morning, with her eyes still closed, Ireene would stretch her arm so that you would take hers too. You always fixed Ireene’s hair in pig tails and she loved it. She would shake her little head to feel the hair flopping from side to side.

After a year, Tatay and my four brothers came. We all stayed together for a while then we moved to Suisun City. Ate and I still had to leave for work very early in the morning and come home late so that the baby would wake up with you and go to bed seeing you. I felt like she thought you were her mother and not me. Boyet would call you late in the afternoons and tell you that his Lola, my mother-in-law who just passed away, was in the living room. You would go with him and he would tell you that Lola is gone. This went on for 4 afternoons.

Then you all had to move to a two bedroom apartment closeby. I would still leave the children with you when I went to work.

When Kuya Boy moved his family to San Diego, you stayed with me for a couple of years until Ireene turned 3.  We would drive to San Diego on a regular basis and found the place very nice. Finally, I told you and Tatay and my brothers that you should all go to San Diego and find a job to start your Social Security investments. So you all did and found yourself a job that you did for a long time.
 
When we moved to Virginia, my sister, Raquel joined me there. You were our regular visitor. We couldn’t do enough to make you and Tatay happy. We took you to places that we knew you would enjoy, like visiting our relatives in NY and NJ and all the way to Toronto, Canada. I told you about the beauty of nature in the fall when the leaves turn to red, orange and brown. You said you wanted to see that. You also said you never saw snow actually fall from the sky. So one fall, you came and stayed until you saw the changing of the colors of the trees. Then winter came and we were blessed with 8 inches of snow which started before midnight. I woke you both up and put 2 chairs by the sliding door so you could see snow fall on the deck. The following morning, you watched Tatay shovel snow for Chip, my little Pomeranian, to go through when he needed to go out in the morning. You both said you have seen everything. When Tatay and his two brothers, Tatay Romy, Tatay Ading and I started practicing rondalla for our upcoming reunion in Virginia after Ireene’s wedding, you sat there watching and enjoyed listening until the reunion came. You were so excited when relatives from all over the country came. Great reunion.


You always looked forward to going with Jess and Raquel to Poquoson early in the morning to meet the fishermen by the river bank and get fresh fish (spot).  I had lots of vegetables growing in my backyard. You always enjoyed going there to pick some vegetables and had your pictures taken there. After dinner, you and Tatay would sit in my living room while I played songs on my organ every night until it was time to go to TCBY (The Country’s Best Yogurt). 

Every six months, I would fly to San Diego to visit you and Tatay in your  one bedroom apartment. You wanted me to take the bedroom so I would have air conditioning while you and Tatay slept in the couch. I would fix you both breakfast and then plan on what to do for the day. A lot of times, Ate Nita would come to pick us up and go shopping or just go for a ride somewhere, maybe to Seafood City and Plaza Bonita. We did that until Tatay left us. You had moved then at Ate and Kuya Boy’s house. I continued with my visits every six months for as long as I can remember. I wanted to spend as much time with you while I could before it got too late. I didn’t want to miss anything. Each time I came, I saw a big difference in you physically. You were very sharp mentally and so Ate kept buying you puzzles to sharpen that wit of yours. 


I tried to call you on the phone if not every night at least every other night. If you didn’t hear from me in a few days, you would always ask my sister if I called. Then I tried to make it up to you. You would always call me if anything bothered you that you couldn’t ask my sister. You just knew I always had the answer for  everything. Even medically. You really believed in me. Thank you very much. 

Towards the end, I couldn’t give you any answer for your pains anymore. It hurt me so much to tell you I didn’t know what to do except that you were no longer as young as you used to be. I asked a couple of my doctor friends hoping to find relief for your suffering. I even asked Ate to talk to them since she knew all about your medical records. But your body started to show deterioration. Pains were evident that your system was starting to fail. And then this corona virus put a hold on life. I was supposed to go on my sixth month visit in the middle of April but couldn’t go. And then you turned for the worse. You knew I wouldn’t be able  to see you anymore. But I know you heard me when I called you for the last time. I asked you to open your eyes if you could hear me. I asked you twice and my brother told me you did open your eyes. I was so relieved and thankful that at least you heard my voice before you finally departed.


Last October was the last time we were together. Ate and I tried to keep you occupied and entertained. It was hard for you to get around anymore with a walker and a wheelchair but we tried to get you out of the house as you wanted and as much as we could do it. We had a great time together like always. On the morning of my coming back home, I told you not to wake up when I leave because it would be very early. But you came out to the living room anyway. As I was getting ready to finally leave, I looked at you and told you “I love you Mommy”. You didn’t hear me, so I said it again. You didn’t hear me either, so for the third time I said it really louder and you heard me. You turned to me and smiled and you said “I love you too very much” and we hugged. That will be my last beautiful memory of you. I will never get that again. But I know you love me and I love you back and I always will. 

Nanay, rest in peace with Tatay and Raquel. They have been waiting for you. It is their turn to enjoy you now. Our loss here on earth is their gain in heaven. Goodbye, Mother. Until we meet again. Love you, Love you, Love you.

Just like Tatay and Raquel have always been my company in my room, you have always been with me by my bed. I loved to say 
"Good morning" to you when I wake up and "Good night" before I go to sleep. I know you will be my special angel now that you can watch me from where you are. I will keep saying "Good morning Mommy" and "Good night Mommy" to you as days, months and years go by. I am missing you already. Each time I look at your pictures, I can't help but feel sad knowing that I will never see you again in person. I love you very much, Nanay.

I would come every 6 months for the longest time even when Tatay was still here. And then it was just you. You were so good at making puzzles up to 1000 pieces. I got so intrigued at how good you were so I tried it myself. It really was very interesting. I am so glad you kept your mind working with these puzzles. There never was a dull moment in  your life. Nanay, it will never be the same again the next time I go to visit San Diego. Your room will be empty with your physical belongings. But I know if I look around closely, your memories will still be there. And I know for sure you will be watching over me because you know I am by myself. You were always so worried about me. I am missing you already. I will always love you.

Remember when we celebrated your actual 90th birthday with your children and grandchildren? You were so excited and so were we. It was always a great moment when we know you were having a wonderful outside of the house. 

There have been so many memories with Nanay that will never be forgotten. When thought about collectively, they all encompass how caring and loving she was when it came to her grandchildren. From making Nesquick for me when I was 5, to asking if I have eaten dinner every time I visit, the love and concern for she had for her family was more than apparent and easily felt. We will miss you Nanay, and we love you. We know you and Tatay will be watching us always.

Remember when you used to take these children to the park in Fairfield? You and Tatay were always there for these children. Truth now is that they still adore you and always will for the rest of their lives. You were an angel sent to this family.

Nanay, thank you very much for being an everlasting part of my children's life. You took the pains of running after my son when he was 3 years old while taking care of another 5 yr old, a 5 month and a newborn. I know how hard it was for you to leave Tatay and my other siblings back home but because of your love for them, you hang in there until both of our dreams came true. We are forever indebted to your caring and love for your entire family.

Remember these kids? These are the first ones you took care of the minute you landed in America. You will forever be a part of their lives no matter how old they get. We all love you very much, Nanay.

And I also remembered all the times Nanay have sewed all her grandchildren pajamas.

I am heartbroken about your passing. I will always treasure all the memories we had together. I always enjoyed our trips to San Diego and spending time with you. I remember the times when we would always go downstairs to get Boba tea when you and Tatay were still living in the apartments. I also remember then time I stayed the night with you and Tatay, and you always made sure I had something to eat. I love you and I miss you, forever Nanay. 

I am so heartbroken that Nanay is gone from us. I know she is no longer in pain, and I am grateful for that. My memory of Nanay is always unconditional love. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren more than anything. She took care of my brother and me when we were younger. We didn’t get to spend as much time with her as our cousins in San Diego did, but every time we saw her I just knew that love from her. It saddens me that I wasn’t able to be there in her last few days, I’d been preparing to travel at a moments notice in the last few years in case it was time. Due to Covid, I wasn’t about to physically be there. 
My daughters met Nanay a couple of times and immediately formed a tight bond. Even though they didn’t speak Tagalog, they were in awe of her presence. I’m so glad they got to meet her. 
I will miss you Nanay, rest in peace. I love you.

One time, in high school, I had to participate in the parade. I needed a costume. You suggested that you would make one for me out of “kokok” the chicken feed sack. I didn’t want that because my friends would tease me. Tatay was so against spending money on something that would be used for one night. I understood, money was hard to come by. But, you did it anyway without Tatay’s knowledge. You went got the fabric and made me the costume. That was just you, being you. Wanting to do anything for your kids to make them happy.

Nay, I remember when you first got me in the first grade. You talked to the teacher Mrs. Camanag, to allow me to attend classes, even as a saling-pusa, because I so wanted to go to school. But then after a few days, I didn’t want to go anymore. You would get mad at me and take me to school anyway, even if you had to spank me with slippers and palapa ng saging. I wish I could have told you, but I couldn’t. I didn’t want to go to school because I missed you. I never wanted to be away from you. (I saw that in Kelly when she first started going to school). I always thought of you when I was in school. I remember when you gave me a bath one morning, just before I went to school. When I got in the classroom and sat down, I thought of you and I just started crying because I missed you. I cherished all the things you were doing for me. Of course, the teacher had to send me home, and I was so happy. So, later on, I got used to it. Starting as a saling-pusa, became a regular student and took the First Honor at the end of the school year. You were so proud of me and credited the palapa ng saging for the achievement. 
 
After that I don’t ever remember you getting mad at me again. When I was in high school, I got drunk between classes. My teacher, Ate Elvie, told you about it. But you didn’t even give me any scolding. I didn’t do it again, though.

I remember going with you to Inang Lureng’s sari-sari store on some nights. You would be talking to her, telling stories, and I would be just happy waiting, sitting on the bench outside.

I remember those times, when you received money from Ate or Ditse, you go would to Imus or Binakayan to exchange the dollar to pesos. Sometimes, I would go with you. On your way home, you would always get some donuts to bring home to us. Those were the only times that we get to eat donuts.

One story about me that you always tell, and never got tired of telling was: 
One night, when I was a little kid, you were praying before going to bed, I sat there next to you. When you were finished, you asked me: “ Ano ba ang dinadasal mo? I answered: Tutubi-tipaklong.”

I know you are in good hands now, free from pain and suffering. You left us a good legacy. You showed us how to love unconditionally. You showed us how much you love your nanay and tatay. You showed us how much you care and love your brothers and sisters, your nephews and nieces. UNCONDITIONALLY. Not expecting anything in return. I love you nanay. I miss you.


Dear Nanay, I like to remember you when you were young, beautiful, energetic and vibrant.  You were healthy, able to walk, cook, sew our pajamas, feed the pigs and chickens, and change my shirt when I sweat at night.  I remember you fighting with our neighbor, Inang Pitang, because their dog chased me when I was walking home from school.  I like to remember you when you didn't have any pains, high blood pressure, kidney problems, diabetes and a pace maker inside your body.  You didn't only raise seven children, but you also unconditionally took care of your own mother, Inang Maxi, not knowing that someday, your oldest daughter, Ate Nita, would do the same for you.

I know you're in heaven now with no more health problems just like the way I want to remember you.  I'll always love you and miss you, Nanay.  Rest in peace in heaven with Tatay, Ate Nene, Inang Maxi and Itang Tasio.

I've been incredibly blessed and grateful to have had you as such a big part of my life.  I never once doubted your unconditional love for us and I'll really miss seeing your unfailing smiles every time we visit.
I love and miss you Nanay, rest in peace and until we meet again.

Whenever I visited you every six months you always wanted to go out to eat. I took pleasure in knowing that if we took you out, you will get an appetite for something that you order for yourself. These were taken  on your90th birthday brunch and the other at Olive Garden for dinner. I kept watching you as you ate your food to make sure you ate enough. I will miss you so much when I go back to visit. You may not be there physically but your memory will. I love you so much. 🥰❤️💕

To one of the most loving people in my life. Thank you, Nanay for raising me and Neil, for walking us to the bus stop at school, for cooking us champorado and bangus all the time when we were kids. For babysitting us with Tatay at your old apartment on our school breaks, taking us to Heritage park, and getting us boba at the shop downstairs. All these simple, little memories that I’ll cherish forever. You loved your family so much and always put us first in your life. Your love for us was so unconditional. I hope someday I’ll be strong enough like you to be able to give back to the people in my life as much as you have. Even though you’re no longer with us here in body, I know God has a new angel watching over us. And I am happy you’re finally at peace and with Tatay. Lastly, I will miss hearing you say the words “I love you” every time we’d say goodbye. It was the last thing you said to me a few days ago when we all thought you were no longer speaking or recognizing us. Mahal na mahal kita, Nanay. ❤️

Nay! There are a lot of regrets I have and a lot of things I wish I would've said to you. But I didn't do. My mother in law she always doing something for others. She adored small children and animals. and she loved people when they were at their worst as well as their best. She Loved UNCONDITIONALLY in every sense of the word. She was the best mother in law and a mother to her children.Thank you for making sweet memories with the grandkids. They know how much you cherish them. You were part of our daily lives when we are going through the most difficult situation. Your help was invaluable of how loving and caring a parent and a spouse should be. And for that I am very grateful. Nanay lives by the rule that any disagreement are kept within the family walls. She is loyal to the end. She always defending me in any situation. She has no blood obligation to love me but always does so anyway. Nanay has been there to babysit my children when joey was on WESTPAC, she makes meal and drop off my kids to the bus stop, She has thought me to be a better person, wife and a mother. What makes her all more BRILLIANT is that she never criticizes . She is the person I turn to when I have question about cooking and life in general. And I remember I comes to her house every morning and she gets the kids ready for school so I can go to work, she's worrying about us feeding us and sending us home with all the leftovers and guiding us in life.
Thank you for unconditional love Nay I will do my best to be a good wife to your son and a good mother and to your grandchildren someday. I will always remember that Unconditional love is POSSIBLE, even for mere mortals and I will spend my life trying to love everyone Unconditionally just the way you did. Thank you. For the light and truth of your love will never go out As long as I have anything to say about it. You are always in my heart forever.
