Rosalie B. Joiner, first child of Elias and Anna Maria Salazar, was born September 6, 1930 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the age of 87, Rosalie entered into the presence of our Lord.
Rosalie met James H. Joiner on a dance floor in San Francisco, California and were married three weeks later on July 10, 1954 before Jim left on orders to Japan.
Rosalie worked at the Public Works Center at 32nd St Naval Station as the Executive Secretary for the Commanding Officer. She retired after 37 years in 1995.
In 1971, Rosalie attended church with friends on Coronado and accepted Jesus as her Lord. She and her husband are members of Bonita Valley Community Church.
Rosalie was predeceased by her sisters, Hazel (Kitty) and Patsy. Rosalie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jim; sons and daughter in laws Jim and Julie, Mark and Kristie, Brett and Lidia; granddaughters Karissa and husband Roshan, Kelcie and husband Garrett and grandsons Joshua and Daniel
Rosalie was outgoing and kind, helping those in need; she had many friends. She loved to travel and shop for a bargain. She had a beautiful, outgoing personality and always put her family first. Rosalie is deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
