Rosalinda was born and raised in Bulusan Sorsogon, Philippines to Vicente and Maria Guysayko. Rosalinda's love of learning carried over into her college years. She received her Bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing from Philippine Women's University in 1976. She met Amado in the Philippines, whom she married on January 22, 1979, and shortly after, the two of them moved to the United States. Rosalinda went on to have a fulfilling career in nursing at Friendship Homes, Continana Convalescent Hospital, NAV-Care, Home Health Care and Wackenhut Corrections Corp-Western Region. In 2017, she retired from nursing while at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility. Rosalinda had a passion for gardening, being with friends, being a member of church organizations, traveling, watching horse racing, and going to the casino.
Rosalinda Guysayko Gines was someone who was able to see the world as an adventure and a blessing. She viewed the people who inhabited it as essentially good. Rosalinda always focused on the good she saw, knowing that there were times she would have to compromise. She was selfless and deeply committed to all things positive and good.
Rosalinda is survived by her husband, Amado, her children, Rosalie and Andrew, her brothers Jose and Juan, and her sisters Josefina, Lilia, and Emma.
