Ruth will forever be remembered as a long time supporter of the California Federation of Women's Clubs made evident by presiding over the Sweetwater Woman's Club club for 5 terms, and 2  2-year terms for Southern District. She went on to preside over Las Donas, a group of past presidents. Ruth was a strong but caring leader and skillfully mentored others.
Ruth leaves a rich legacy for family, friends, and clubwomen and will be deeply missed by all.

On a lighter note:
Some of the old timers will remember Ruth's famous  Tostada Bar "after party" that followed our woman's club's annual Home Tour. The club would honor Ruth's efforts by presenting her with accolades and red roses, as the festivities continued on for a time. the festivities. So many great memories to cherish.

A fond farewell to you Ruth for a life well lived.!
