She always pushed him to be his best!
August 2014, Sally started to struggle with her health. In September 2014, she was diagnosed with lung cancer. With her family by her side every day and night, she battled the beast. Taking several meds, injections, and trips to the doctors, she never complained, never blamed anyone or asked why me. She said " this is really Shitsville, and we will take this one day at a time"and still smiled thru it all. She was always apologizing to her family because she didn't wanna be a burden! She fought the good fight, and on Friday morning at 930 am on September 26,2014, Sally Rae Mildenhall was welcomed into Heavens open arms by her husband, three sisters, her parents and other loved ones .
She is survived by her daughter Laura Stewart and husband Shane , her favorite grandson Shawn Micheal Duffy, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and friends.
On October 11,2014, with her family and friends by her side, on top of a hillside in front of the "Chapel of Roses" in Glen Abby Memorial Park on Bonita, Ca her body will be laid to rest. She will be missed by us all, but we can be comforted and assured knowing that she is now pain free and breathing heavenly air and is among many of our loved ones.. Rest in peace Mom, Grandma, Aunt Sally
