

Salome M. Reyes was born on October 21st 1945. She first greeted the world in San Jose, Labrador, Pangasinan, Philippines. Her parents' names were Marcelo Arenas Martin and Maria Paz Ombac Martin. She grew up in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines with seven siblings named Anastasia Martin Soriano, Jose Ombac Martin (deceased), Florentino Ombac Martin (deceased), Serviliano Ombac Martin, Segundino Ombac Martin, Cirilia Martin Cubol and Teresita Martin Duncan.
Salome graduated from Mapa High School in 1964. She later attended Arellano University where she studied hard to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
On April 17th, 1971 Salome exchanged wedding vows with her sweetheart, Salvador Lopez Reyes at The United States Navy Chapel in Guam. She was the perfect example of a loving and devoted wife. Together they shared many happy years of marriage.
Salome and Salvador were blessed with three children, Allan Martin Reyes, Michael Martin Reyes and Sharon Reyes Kudrik. Salome worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. She raised her children in a positive and nurturing environment where she taught them the importance of strong family values.
Later in life, Salome was blessed with the gift of five grandchildren, Madeline Ashley Reyes, Isaiah Marc Reyes, Alanna Grace Reyes, Kalona Valentine De Castro and Kaycee Riley Kudrick . She adored all of her grandchildren.
Fortunately, Salome enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Salome worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career as a machine operator. Salome was employed by Honeywell for over 14 years.
Salome enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in a number of different activities, including crocheting, sewing, gardening, cooking, cleaning her home, watching her favorite T.V. shows on TFC, GMA and E! Entertainment, but most of all, spending time with her family. These were just a few of her favorite things in life.
Salome M. Reyes left us on April 8th, 2011. She passed away at San Diego Hospice after fighting a brave battle against lung cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Salvador Reyes; her children Allan Reyes, Michael Reyes and Sharon Reyes Kudrik; daughter- in- law Melody Reyes; son- in- law Philip Kudrik; grandchildren Madeline Ashley Reyes, Isaiah Marc Reyes, Alanna Grace Reyes, Kalona Valentine De Castro and Kaycee Riley Kudrik; as well as many other loved ones and friends. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Charles Catholic Church on April 16th, 2011. Salome was laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
