Saturnina Abubo Vicente

Saturnina Delacruz Abubo Vicente our beloved mother, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born on June 4, 1930, in Cabanatuan, Philippines. As a young wife and mother, she came to the US with her husband who served in the US Navy and raised their family. She spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and all she cared for deeply.

A devoted wife, mother, grandma and great grandma, Nina was known for her smile, her kindness, strength, and generosity. She always made others feel welcomed and loved. She especially enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, and reading the bible. All of these brought her great joy and happiness in sharing these passions with her family and friends.

Nina is survived by her children, Gabriel Vicente, Ramon Vicente, and Joy Vicente. She is preceded in death by her husband Santiago Vicente and her daughter Dolores Tungcab. She has 10 grandchildren Roel Tungcab, Rommel Tungcab, Raymond Tungcab and Rosalyn Tungcab, Alanna Vicente, Adelia Vicente, Cherry Ann Hernandez, James Vicente, Lyndsey Crance and Mychelle Mortenson. Her great grandchildren – Kiara Tungcab, Christine Tungcab, Brandon Tungcab, Lauren Tungcab, Micah Tungcab, Averie Tungcab, Laurelle Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Sophia Gonzales, Mei Lin Vicente, Gage Hernandez, Cruz Crance and Enzo Crance.

The memories of her love and guidance will live on in the hearts of all her family and friends that knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The viewing and funeral services will be held at the Glen Abbey Mortuary 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, California. The viewing will be held on January 8, 2026, from 5 pm to 9 pm. Services will be held on January 9, 2026, from 11 am to 12 pm. Interment will follow from 1:15 to 1:45pm at the Miramar National Cemetery 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego California where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
