Shatoya, I am so fortunate to have met you. 
Six of us spent ten days straight together on vacation and for me it was like love at first sight. We both share the same middle name and she was a straight shooter. 
 Shatoya definitely brought her  presence  as well as  conversation and I got to know many things about her and concluded that we would remain friends  after the trip. We texted but unfortunately we didn't get to meet up.  I can't wait to see her children.  God bless you all.
I will miss her for sure though we had a short time together she can't be forgotten.  Sending condolences to her family and friends.

Shatoya and I were backyard neighbors and grew up together. I would always hop over to her house even when I was in trouble. She was my best friend and would always be the ear that I needed. We had some fun times roller blading and getting into trouble. I wouldn’t change a thing. I remember her being so athletic that she won all the athletic awards at our school. She literally took 98% of the medals home. I was so impressed. She even tried things she didn’t sign up for and won. I would always see how much fun Shatoya had with her sister which was the main reason I wanted a big family. I remember walking 4 miles to school with Shatoya and spending a lot of time at her house. This picture was taken at San Manuel Casino which was the last time I saw Shatoya. We had a lot of fun catching up with ourselves and talking about how our older girls act just like how we were at their ages. It was because of Shatoya that I met my husband of 16 years! Mexico was our best trip and nothing will ever top how much fun we had! Shatoya and her family holds a special place in my heart. She will be missed dearly. Love You Tootsie R.I.P

I'll FOREVER remember this day . It was the last time we physically saw each other. You were my absolute best friend but even more then that you were my sister and Im so broken over your passing but I know how much you loved me and you knew how much I loved you . Shatoya was one of the funniest, realest persons I ever met. I met Shatoya working for intelicare she use to seat right behind me at this call center and we became good friends immediately.  We would hangout after work all the time. She actually help me with choosing my career as a real estate agent. We would talk about working together in Selling houses. I remember the first time talking to her and getting to know her I always thought she was 22 Year old, I remember telling her that I gave her the nickname 22 because she looked she young and when she told me her age and that she had kids I didn’t believe because she looked so young. Being a friend of Shatoya was the best time in my life, she always made me laugh being around her was never a dull moment. Shatoya always had my back no matter what, she was such an amazing funny real person. I am really going to miss her so much.   She was nothing but a funny, caring, loving, real person in my eye and I know she is in a better place now. I will never forget you Shatoya!  I will miss you so much.
