Hey Uncle Steve. Saw you off at the funeral. Your brothers & sisters all said very nice things about you, great memories brought up. We laughed, we cried. You touched a lot of people. I will always remember how you helped raise me & Phil. You picked us up & brought us to school when we were little, would comb our hair (I don't think we ever told you but a few times we got compliments about how good our hair looked). My first concert was with your son, he took me to see Marilyn Manson. My 3rd was with you, Alice Cooper at the Fair. We watched it, we laughed, we had a really good time. You bought me a cinnamon roll. And we (you, me, dad, & a few of my friends) even saw Alice Cooper again with Rob Zombie (though Zombie SUCKED at that show... :( ).

You were always there to help out with Nana. I remember shopping with you & her often when I first got my car. I wouldn't call it "fun" as I hate shopping... but you made it much more enjoyable just being your jokey self. 

I'm so happy Dad always tried to keep you around with events (the last few Xmas / Thanksgivings at my house). I'm happy you got to see my son quite a few times. He liked you as well. I'm sad you won't be around for Xmas / Thanksgiving this year. Just know we always had a place for you & will always remember you. You will be missed.

Stephen, I remember when your nickname was "Shorty".  You were the coolest with your patch Levi jacket.  Everybody wanted to be your friend, because you just had such an outgoing personality, always  joking around.  Then came your extremely unfortunate accident.  That was the first time God thought about calling you home to him.  You were unconscious for a very long time, but you returned to us.  I remember you having to learn everything (walking, talking) all over again.  You were very strong, because you were back in school in 5 months.  God wanted you here for bigger and better things.                              

I remember how much you loved your son.  How you struggled to save money to try and get him nice things.  You never wanted to bother him about anything.  You wanted him to have a great life.

Steve, there are so many memories!  Good ones and those we don't want to think about.  You and the twins "bouncing" on the couch.  We used to call you guys the triplets.  You and I going to see Tony Gwynns final baseball game.  Going shopping with Mom. More and more...

I remember when you were just a little guy, just about 2.  We used to go to the drive-in theater a lot because it was affordable for our large family.  Well, you ran away from Mom, straight to the concession stand.  Of course, Mom was right behind you, but before she got there they announced that they had a little lost boy named "Bimbo".  "Bimbo" was the name of a song Mom would sing to you.  Mom found you sitting on the counter with your own popcorn and soda.

When I received the call about your passing I was in shock.  I didn't want to believe it.  Now brother, you are in God's hands with Mom and Dad.  No more seizures and pain.

I never thought this would happen.  I was supposed to go before you because I am older.

I will miss you and love you for the rest of my days.  See you on the other side, Steve.

Stephen my brother I have great memories of us growing up!  I remember how how much of a comedian you were.  Being around you was never a dull moment!  I will cherish the many memories growing with you my brother.  You are definitely a unique guy for sure!  

I am still in awe of your passing!  I thought I was dreaming when I received the call about your passing!  When I woke up I realized your passing is real.  I will miss YOU and your sense of humor for many years to come!  I love you my big brother Stephen!  Fly high, celebrate with our many loved ones.
