No one was closer than you and I were. Each other's ride or die. Then we got stupid and stopped talking. I still haven't successfully come to terms with the reality of you being gone, and  I'll NEVER come to terms with the fact that we weren't talking when you died. I literally forget that you're gone sometimes. And then it hits me like a freezing cold bucket of water... you're no longer here. I miss you something awful. Give Nana a hug and a kiss for me.

Two years today. Wow. I still can't believe it. I'm mad at you. You ruined our plans. You and I weren't talking when you passed. But that's how we were. We were going to make up and be stronger than ever, like with every stupid fight before. We didn't patch things up like I was positive we would have. I live with that regret every day. 
Mom lost her baby. Danny, Mónica, Angélica and Gabriel lost their mom. Lorena and I lost our sister. And I also lost my best friend. 
A lot of people miss you. Life is strange without you. It's bland. There's less flavor without you.
Until we meet again. I love you, Big Kid.

I have so many memories of hanging out with you and Lorena when we were kids. 
Those were great times. We always had fun, You were always laughing or Making us Laugh, we couldn't stop laughing when we were around you, because you were either doing Something or Saying Something to Make us Laugh!! 
Loved your infectious smile and you're gorgeous REAL eyelashes lol!
You were definitely born with a great Spirit and  energy!

You were always a true true friend no matter how many years have passed without speaking, it was always like no time had gone by even though we have grown up as adults and had different lives and different directions! 
The last time we talked it was like all of those Years disappeared, even though we were now Real grownups years older! You are and I will always be a true dear friend, and you are definitely missed already!!

Never would I ever think I would be doing this! My cousin in name my sister my heart. Un countable memories I have of you and with you. You were so much more than so many will ever know. We were side by side in so many  adventures through life that only we will know. But know this...I loved you then and I love you now and always will. My sister my cousin, my best friend.

Today, I’m lost 😞 of words. I’m still in a state of shocked by the sad 😞 news that My Dearest Beloved Sister Veronica had passed away. Words can’t describe why she was taken from me so soon. I’m still shocked and saddened over Veronica being called home so early. My heart is with all our family and all the special people, who's lives were touched by cousin Veronica….
I have great memories w/ cousin Veronica when I was little. 
Family Weddings, Camping in Ensenada and many BBQ’s.  With her gorgeous colored eyes and infectious laugh, I member her best with a smile on her face always.

I still can't believe that you are no longer here... It seems just like it was yesterday, living on Lotus Dr, playing at Los Niños park, your crush on Mario, after going camping with tio Javier n tia Mary to ensenada. I remember you couldn't go out unless you took me😁 which meant you also had to take Lucy Vasquez! And you would drop us off at rollerskateland next to Farell's! I remember starting jr high and my name was Tweedy's little sister, which I Hated!😏 You hated me until you got married. Then, you were over it and we were always together. I saw you at your best and at your worst. Your highs and your lows. I had your back no matter what, right or wrong, it didn't matter. I also seen you live through alot of pain, for so very long. More than anyone should have to endure. You had so many people in your life that you left a lasting impression on. I know the healing will eventually kick in, but right now there is such a void that I can't explain. All I can do is bow my head and pray. Go with God carnala. We love you. Lorena and family 

Veronica lived her life laughing and loving. Her smile was unforgettable and infectious. Veronica was my sister. She was in my life for 47 years. Whether we were laughing, crying, fighting or just being goofy, we did it passionately. God Bless You, Veronica. The suffering you endured earned you a place in heaven. Rest in peace, you've more than earned it.  I will always love you.
God, please bring peace to Veronica's children and grandchildren as well as to our mother.
