

Dr. Taghi Sepassi passed away on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 at his home in San Diego, California. He was born on September 23rd, 1925 in Tehran, Iran. Dr. Sepassi grew up in Northern Iran in the City of Babol, close to the Caspian Sea, where his father was serving in the government. He graduated from Tehran University with a degree in Medicine. He married the love of his life, Shokouh Sepassi, while in medical school. After graduation, due to his love of the Caspian Sea region, he moved back to the area and worked as a doctor in Babol’s hospital. After working as a medical doctor for over 40 years, due to his love for his two children, he sacrificed his life in Iran for his daughter and son and moved to San Diego to live close to them until his death. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as walking in Balboa Park, his most favorite place, and exploring other interesting places in the San Diego area. He made many trips around the country with his children. He was a very kind and positive person, always with a smile on his face. He loved to welcome guests to his residence. Taghi Sepassi is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shokouh Sepassi of San Diego; Son, Daughter and Granddaughter Shahin, Sharareh, and Aryana Sepassi of San Diego; Son-in-law Habib Hariri of San Diego, and two brothers, two sisters, and many cousins, nieces and nephews all around the world.
His Funeral and Memorial Service will be held at the Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary at 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. Services start at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 9th, 2018. Lunch will be served at 1:30 PM.
