I met Terri while I was student teaching and we became very close. She was an amazing person who just wanted to serve, love others and be loved in return. I lost touch with her which was something I always regretted. I was actually searching through the internet for her to get back in touch and sadly came upon this heartbreaking news. My prayers are with her and her sweet daughter. Teri I am so sorry that we lost contact with each other. You were a dear precious lady and I smile when I think of the fun times that we had. To those that may read this, please don't let your loved ones and close friends lose touch, or go without letting them know how much you love and appreciate them. Life is precious and it may be too late. My hope is that I will embrace her again on the other side of Heaven where I know that the Lord is embracing her and saying, "Well done thy good and faithful servant." Rest in peace and know that you touched the lives of many and continue to be loved. I wish that I could tell you that in person but say it now in my heart.

I forgot to send my name for my message that follows Mich Marticci. It was about the times we taught 6th grade at CP and 6th grade camp.

I feel so fortunate to have worked with Teri the past six years.  She taught me many things, but i especially admired her passion for life and shopping!  Her wit, humor, thoughtfulness, and unique style is one-of-a-kind.  It will be hard to look down the hall and not see the bright green frog posted on the door.  I have lots of fond memories, but I miss my friend and colleague.  She was one terrific lady!

Angel, Josh, and Gabe, I'm so sorry for the sudden loss of your mother and grandmother. Although I didn't know your mom, Angel, I can see what a positive force she has been in your life. I pray for your peace as you begin adjusting to life without her physical presence.

Ms.Coffey was one of my favorite teachers because she always was cheerful and she made my year in first grade memorable.

I only got to meet you once, at Josh and Angel's wedding, but you she made a strong impression as a loving mother and someone that genuinely cared about other people. You will be missed.

So sorry to hear of your passing. I worked 8 years with Terri at Castle Park when she taught 3rd and 6th grade. I will always remember how dedicated she was to her students and families. I always envied her room decor. She was a great teacher who cared not only about academics but also about her students' spirits.

Teri, so sad to hear of you leaving us. I want to thank you for all the good times we shared at 6th grade camp and for, even if you did not realize it, the times you mentored me as one of your 6th grade teaching partners at CP. At times it may have seemed like you were not helping me, but you did. I also feel sorry for your family, especially your daughter and grandson I know you loved so much. So sorry.

You were always so kind to me..you will be dearly missed by coworkers, friends and family.  You were a fantastic teacher and I am honored to have been able to work next to you.  Your smile, laugh, hugs and high expectations will never be forgotten...with much love and admiration...rest in peace.

Teri, I'm heart broken over losing you.  You were a fantastic friend and colleague. I have many fond memories of you at Castle Park. We also shared a ton of laughs at our get togethers. I will always have a place for you in my heart. Thank you for the 16 years I knew you.

Miss Coffey was my son Diego's teacher this past year.  She definitely taught my son to be amazing we are blessed to have had her in our lives.  Although are hearts are broken we rejoice that she is with the Lord walking the streets of gold.

I first met Teri in 1990 when I was a beginning teacher at Chula Vista Hills. She was very, very dear to me. A group of us met before school in Teri's 3rd grade room for prayer.  She helped me so much with her wonderful spirit and wise consul as a teacher. Recently saw her in Costco and remember her sparkling, smiling eyes and beautiful smile. My deepest condolences to Gabe, who she was so proud of, and Angel, Josh, and family and friends.

We had the joy of spending many a retreat together along with Ilona and Chris and so many others that loved your mom.  Though it has been a long time since I have seen Terri the sweet memories are there.  Sending prayers for comfort

I met and worked with your Mom 25 years ago when Chula Vista Hills first opened.  In a recent conversation with her, she shared with such pride and love "what you were now doing in life".
