Teresa Aslarona Bangalan Rubio was born in Bidduang Pamplona, Cagayan, Philippines on June 17, 1949. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology at Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. At 19 years old, she moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts as an exchange student. She dedicated 30 years of her life working as a Medical Technologist. In California, she settled with her husband, Ruben Rubio and their three beautiful daughters: Rachel, Eileen, and Justine. Teresa was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend. Her strong spirit will stay with us and always be remembered.
