Teresita Rodriguez Quebada

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Teresita Roddriguez Quebada, who left this world peacefully on June 26, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on April 11, 1947, in the serene town of San Fernando, La Union, Philippines, Teresita was the cherished daughter of Roberto Ganaden Rodriguez and Petrona Caoile Dacumos.

Teresita's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, laughter, and boundless compassion. She was the devoted wife of Rolando Tabaco Quebada, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. Their union, which began on June 28, 1971, was blessed with three incredible children: Maria Kristina Vera Cruz, Katherine Rodriguez Quebada, and Kenneth Rodriguez Quebada, along with their adopted son, Randy Rodriguez Quebada. Her love extended to her four treasured grandchildren: Vayle (Dimitri) Vera Cruz, Keoki Gabriel Quebada Silva, and Delylah Rose Vera Cruz. She is survived by her siblings; Yolanda R. Esquejo, Zenaida R. Lim, Edilberto D. Rodriguez, June D. Rodriguez and Ruby Lyn R. Nuestro. She is now reunited in peace with her parents, her siblings Elnora Rodriguez Agtarap and Rhoda Rodriguez Corpuz, and her beloved grandson Josiah Quebada Saenz.

Teresita's journey in life was marked by her dedication to nursing, a profession where she touched countless lives with her gentle care and expertise. After graduating from De Ocampo Memorial College, School of Nursing in Manila, she began her career at Saint Jude General Hospital in Manila. She then became the RN Operating Room Supervisor at Lorma Medical Center in San Fernando, and ultimately concluded her remarkable career at Saint Agnes Hospital in Quezon City. Her nurturing nature and professionalism left an indelible mark on her colleagues and patients alike.

For 35 years, Teresita served as a Unit Clerk at Paradise Valley Hospital, where she forged friendships that blossomed into family-like bonds. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of warmth, kindness, and generosity.

Teresita's interests and hobbies mirrored her vibrant personality. She found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful gifts for those she loved. Her passion for ballroom dancing, cooking, arts and crafts, and sewing were well known among her family and friends. Beyond her talents, she had a fascination with collecting stuffed animals and trinkets, which brought her simple pleasures.

In addition to her creative endeavors, Teresita was a woman of many skills. She possessed the rare ability to fix minor home appliance repairs and sewing machines, showcasing her talents as both a mechanic and an electrician. Her sense of adventure, coupled with her infectious laughter and gift for humor, made her a cherished friend to many.

Teresita's legacy is one of unwavering love, boundless generosity, and an indomitable spirit. She was a light to all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Teresita's memory to a charity of your choice. Her life was a testament to the power of giving, and she would be honored by any acts of kindness made in her name.

As we remember Teresita, let us celebrate her life and the love she shared with all of us. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire us to live with kindness, joy, and laughter.

Visitation will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in the Magnolia Room on July 29, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in the Chapel of Roses on July 30, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, on July 30, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Reception will be held at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902, US, on July 30, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
