I have many memories that flash before my mind when I think of Terry.  It’s hard to not also think of Lauren as well because from as far back as I can remember they were together, which always brings warmth to my heart.  Usually, Terry would run with my brothers “crowd” as you will.  Many Sunday afternoons all the boys including Stephen, James, Terry, my brother Adam, and sometimes the Stewart brothers would be living it up running around our backyard and yes, the neighborhood often filming themselves doing home movies.  They would spend hours and hours doing home movies.  The theme was usually war movies, and they got really creative and my brother would even add visual effects to the films.  They were great friends.  Another fond memory I have is one evening after church a group of young adults went up to Barona casino to have dinner in one of the restaurants there.  Mel had recently took my family out to eat so it was my honor to treat Lauren and Terry to their dinner.  I remember them that evening laughing and talking.  I remember Terry beat-boxing for my girls when they were babies.  And so, he lives on I like to believe, in our hearts and our minds.  His family did a beautiful and very meaningful memorial service for him this past Wednesday.

I remember how kind you were to your daughter Ember & how you helped her carve the pumpkin while we were in New Mexico. It was a short visit but we will always remember our stay there because you and your family made it so much fun for us! 🎃

I am glad I had the opportunity to meet you even if it was for only a short time. Brad talks about all the fun time you guys had as kids.  I enjoyed going to the Fair with you, Lauren and Ember years ago, our float river trip and all the small visits in between. Thank you for being there for us and being Brad's best man at our wedding.  I will always cherish those memories.  I wish the best to your family and close friends at this difficult time.  See you on the other side. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Terry at Artesia, NM. It was a real treat to see father and son working together while on detail. No words will be sufficient. All I can say is I'm sorry for your loss. Terry and your family have been in our prayers. One day you will all be together again.

Our hearts are broken but also full of gratitude for the memories we can reflect upon during this profound time of grief. I recall the phone calls, when our boys were in their teens, asking to spend the night or weekend at Terry's.  My son, Adam, spent lots of time in Imperial Beach and  has his own particular memories from those teen years. I remember Terry had a great sense of humor and enjoyed having fun but he also had a distinct maturity about him. I know Terry has touched many lives and leaves behind a positive spark of love, kindness and joy in those he loved. Our thoughts and prayers are with you daily. Love you!

I have so many memories of my big cousin, too many to write. He was hilarious and sweet, made up the most fun games, beat boxed like a champ and had the best laugh and smile.  I would like to share something my daughter Emersyn said  that I hope he got a laugh out of.“Terry really loved his one wheel, and when we I see one at the store I’m going to think of him and his funny name Gooster. And when my auntie Felicia has her baby, I’m going to teach the baby to say goo goo.” 

Terry was my classmate and a great friend.  He will be terribly missed.

I wish that by wishing I could take away the sadness. God is good and He will take good care of Terry and all of you.

What a beautiful page of memories. I am praying for your entire family. Terry’s smile and wonderful personality will not be forgotten. He was always so thoughtful and kind. Since we live across the country, most of our interactions over recent years were through Facebook. I loved when he would comment about things he was doing with Ember or ideas of fun activities he had planned for her. It showed what a thoughtful and intentional Dad he was. Love you all so much. 

I remember how excited Gooster was when his dad dressed up as a Ninja Turtle for his birthday party! Many hearts are broken but we were blessed to have him in our lives, even if for a little while. May he Rest In Peace with our loving Savior. Prayers for all of our family and his many friends. 

I remember you calling me Moco when you were a  kid. One Memory that will stick with me forever is during Jr’s funeral, I felt a hand grab my shoulder from behind and when I turned to look it was you. I remember how happy and comforting I felt to see you during that difficult time. I remember we hugged and you gave your condolences. that was the last time I saw you. Rest in Paradise Gooster. 🙏🙏
