

family was stationed during his father’s service in the U.S. Army. A
few years later the military moved his family to Italy, where as a young
boy he easily became fluent in Italian. The family ultimately moved
back to the United States settling in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Tyler made many trips to San Diego with his family throughout the years
to visit his paternal and maternal grandparents and their families.
Tyler ultimately came back to California after graduating from high
school to attend the California Maritime Academy. He demonstrated an
exceptional ability to fix things mechanical, and started a career
working as a mechanic at the San Diego County Club in the grounds
maintenance division for the last 9 years.
Tyler had a passion for bmx, motorcycles, trucks, classic cars and music
… and life in general.
He was generous and thoughtful, funny and surprising.
He had such a quirky sense of humor and always kept you
on your toes. His laughter could fill any room and his love for his family
and friends was unparalleled.
Tyler dreamt of having a family since he was a young boy. He fulfilled
this dream by creating a beautiful family. Aside from being a loving and
protective father, his capacity for joy and fun was extraordinary. His
passion for his children was as big as his strength and personality.
Surviving are his loving wife Terah, 9 year-old Aidan, 5 year-old Oliver
and 2 year-old Delilah.
