

Vevien C. Dela Cruz was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Vevien will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Bienvenido and Magdalena Cadalin. Vevien grew up in Cavite City, Philippines and was raised with her two brothers, Ben and Leonardo Cadalin. Vevien and her brothers shared many life experiences over the years.
On October 13, 1982 Vevien exchanged wedding vows with Hilario B. Empathic and loyal, Vevien was committed to making her new family happy. Vevien and Hilario were blessed with two daughters, Larivhie and Hillary. Vevien worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs.
Fortunately, Vevien enjoyed what she did for a living and demonstrated a strong work ethic. Her primary occupation was as a Project Accountant for a construction company. She was employed for 20 years.
Vevien enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were playing the piano, singing to karaoke, shopping, watching movies and traveling. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Vevien passed away on December 26, 2011 at her home in Spring Valley, California. Vevien fought a brave battle against cancer. She is survived by her Husband Hilario and her two daughters Larivhie and Hillary. Services were held at The Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California. Vevien was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California.
Simply stated, Vevien was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Vevien leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Vevien C. Dela Cruz.
