Victoria will be remembered with deep respect for the steady compassion she showed to others, the quiet thoughtfulness with which she moved through the world, and the enduring strength that carried her through life’s challenges. Her faith was a constant presence—an anchor in difficult seasons and a source of calm in everyday moments.
On September 2, 1983, Victoria married Albert “Bill” Dawson. Together, they built a family rooted in love and perseverance. She was the mother of three daughters—Tammy, Jenny, and Roberta—and also a stepmother to her step-daughter, Staci, and step-son, Garth. She was proud of her family and leaves behind eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Victoria found joy and purpose in creating with her hands. She loved pottery and dedicated herself to the craft with her own kiln and wheel, shaping beauty and usefulness from simple clay with patient care. She also had a special tenderness for animals, especially dogs, and her affection for them reflected the gentleness that so often defined her presence.
Strong-willed and a fighter, Victoria met life with resilience and resolve. In the words she so often shared, and the example she lived, her message was clear: “Never give up.”
