Virginia Mae Evans, born on June 19, 1929 in Speedwell Tennessee, recently passed away on December 29, 2014 at her home in San Diego, California. Virginia is succeeded by her husband Jim Evans of 57 years, 4 of 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
She enjoyed nothing more than spending time and cooking with her family and friends. Virginia spent many years working in the nursery at First Baptist church of Imperial Beach and has made a positive impact on the lives of countless children and their families.
Wherever she went Virginia made an effort to share her love and faith with everyone she encountered. She continuously prayed for the safety, wellbeing, and salvation for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Virginia’s love for her family, friends, and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is what she is most remembered by.
