My first memories of Aunt Virginia takes me back to Johnson City Tennessee. While Mitch, and Lynn were in school I stayed with my Aunt Virginia and family. Then later in California my family actually lived with Uncle Jim & Aunt Virginia on the Navy Base. I honestly never felt or have ever felt more joy, love, and contentment in my life than my memories with them. I deeply love all of you, and pray for God to comfort you during this time. I love what cousin Tammy Hardin wrote about our Aunt Virginia as well and would like to second that. Aunt Virginias love certainly did make an impact in my life as well. I will forever remember my Precious Aunt Virginia .
Aunt Virginia made such an impact  in my Life , with her Love , prayers and her sharing and living her Faithfullness in her Life.

Mrs Virginia was an angel on earth she had a way of always trying to keep the peace when others wanted to disrupt it. She was a very kind soul and I for one will never ever forget her.  My children were in the Nursery with her when they were small and have now grown into young adults.  It just makes me so sad to hear of her passing but it also is so comforting because I know where Mrs Virginia is at this moment she is looking down from the Kingdom of Heaven.  She was such a strong women of God and loved her family so deeply and taught her children to do the same while loving Jesus.  I love you Mrs Virgina you are missed but will never been forgotten.  Love and Hugs to the Evans family you are so loved and so lucky to have shared your life with such a wonderful person and inspiration.

Mother, Eva Collins Lowry, wants to send her love to her family and appreciation to  those who have  prepared Aunt Virginia for rest.  It saddens her to not be with the family and friends today so she wishes to express her gratitude for the love that was given to her sister.  Mother's prayers will include each and every one of you. My sincerest sympathies are with the Evans family.  I'll never forget when I met Virginia on my first visit to First Baptist Church of Imperial Beach.  After the service, she approached and welcomed me in that soft Southern drawl.  It was her warmth and guidance that made me stay.  Virginia was instrumental in helping me to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.  I will always remember her.

She was the sweetest and nicest person I know. She was soft spoken and loved everyone. She maybe gone but never forgotten.
I spent many Sundays in the nursery with her at First Baptist Church of Imperial Beach

We first met Virhinia about 33 years ago. We often visited with her in Ventura at Bobbie and Wanda's house where Chuck and I were blessed to eat her wonderful meals and delicious desserts. We both loved to make crafts and the last one she taught me to make was Christmas tree angel ornaments.
But what we remember most was the wonderful Christian example she was too all who met her. She would always sit close to you and speak in her sweet so soft voice. I loved the way she would lean towards you with her hand on your arm sharing parts of her life.
Her love for Jim, her husband, was so evident. Her kids , grandkids and great grandkids were her life. She always prayed for their protection and believed that God was always near them. She was a testimony to God's love. 
The only things that makes her 
leaving this earth acceptable is that she is with her beloved daughter Bobbie and they are hugging and kissing as they are together again and the knowledge that we will all see her again. That is God's promise to us. You are loved and never forgotten dearest Virginia. Elaine and Chuck.

Virginia always lifted my spirits. She had a way of making us all feel cared for. Attentive to our words and never in a hurry to carefully formulate a helpful and loving response, she was a role model to me when I was a new Christian. Praise God for sharing her with us for awhile.

Aunt Virginia, i have many memories of you that I will cherish forever. You were a very, special woman in my life. I love you so very, very much and just knowing you are in heaven with daddy, Bobbie, Cindy, aunt Helen and so many more is what gives me peace. I know i will see you again someday. Love you, Lynn

My Beautiful Aunt Virginia, Mother's sister.  I only was in the presence of Aunt Virginia less than ten visits. The first visit I remember was when I was about 6.  I remember she brought me a dress.  I can remember the color, the way she wrapped her arms about my small frame, and the beautiful way she spoke.  All through my life I loved  her beautiful voice, the softness of her tone, the sweet draw she used when saying my name.   The last time I spoke with her was in September.  We talked about Angels, how she had an Angel.  There was no doubt of that.  For she was a Gift to us all.  Thank you Heavenly Father for the Gift of Aunt Virginia.  God Bless to all.

I don't recall if I ever actually spoke to Mrs. Evans but I do remember being in her home with her son who is my friend Steve Evans.  I know that her faith in Christ was paramount in her life.  I know this because her son Steve is a faithful believer in Jesus.  And this is because he was raised up by a loving and God fearing woman.  Even though I never knew her, I did know her through her son Steve who I found to be a breath of fresh air filled with the grace of God and this was in no small part due to his wonderful, faithful mother.

Aunt Virginia, It is hard to imagine a world without you in it.

Since I am the first to set this up, I will start.  My mom loved her family unconditionally, but even more so she loves our Lord Jesus even more.  My mom and my dad have been the inspiration in the Christian foundation that I have.  She always encouraged myself, my brothers, and my sisters to always have faith in Jesus, and now I believe with my whole heart that she is with our Lord and Savior.  I pray that everything she has taught us will be a legacy that we can pass onto our children and grandchildren.  Mom I love you and will miss you dearly; however, I know that we will meet again in heaven.
