Zenaida F. Castillo

Zenaida Felizardo Castillo was born to Claudio Diaz Felizardo and Maria Mangalindaan Bustamante on November 8, 1938 in the city of Bacoor, Cavite Philippines. She was raised with six siblings; Julie Del Rosario, Ernesto Felizardo, Alfredo Felizardo, Luzviminda Lipumano, Benjamin Felizardo, Lourdes Sia.

Zenaida graduated from Olongapo City National High school in 1956. She later continued her education by studying at Far Eastern University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

At a young age, Zenaida met and fell in love with Ernesto Castillo and the couple happily exchanged wedding vows on March 28, 1965 in at St. Joseph Parish Olongapo City, Philippines. Zenaida and Ernesto were blessed with five children; Ferdinand Noel Castillo, Ernesto Castillo, Jr., Maria Eriza Montemayor, Ephraim Castillo and Claude Ale Castillo. Later in life they received the joy of three grandchildren; E.J., Lyzette and C.J.

Fortunately, Zenaida enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Zenaida worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Zenaida worked for CUBI Naval Hospital, UCSD Medical Center and Sharp Coronardo hospital.

Zenaida enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various activities including cooking, shopping, watching Filipino soap operas. Zenaida was always happy and willing to share her interests with others.

Zenaida left us on February 22, 1012. She passed away at Alvarado Hospital of natural causes. She is survived by her husband, Ernesto Castillo, sons; Ferdinand Noel Castillo, Ernesto Castillo, Jr., Ephraim Castillo, Claude Ale Castillo and daughter Maria Eriza Montemayor . Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Service was held at The Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California on March 4, 2012. Zenaida Felizardo Castillo was later laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California
