Andrew Jerald Olitsky grew up in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, before moving to Florida. He had a deep love for muscle cars, the Flyers, the Eagles, the Yankees, cooking, coin collecting, nature, and animals—especially his beloved dachshund. Andrew was always caring and had a great sense of humor.
His passion for sports and muscle cars began more than four decades ago when he opened an auto repair shop in Pennsylvania with his older brother Mike, who tragically passed away in an accident. Andrew also endured the loss of his sister Patricia, his mother Jackie Conrad Olitsky, and his father Jerald Olitsky.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Dawn Seyler Olitsky, along with her immediate family: Ruth and Dave Huff, Cheryl, Steve, Randy, Debbie, Diane, Robert, Kathy, and Wayne. He is also survived by his sister Susan, his Aunt Carole Daniels, cousins Greg, Chip, and Lee Ann, and his uncle and longtime friend, Rodney Arnold.
Andrew passed away suddenly on May 20, 2025, in Naples, Florida. He died peacefully.
A Celebration of Life for Andrew will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hodges Life Celebration Center (www.hodgescelebrateslife.com), 26051 S. Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, Florida. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the ASPCA. Donations can be made online at www.aspca.org.
