

Born on November 5, 1942, Ellen was a kind-hearted and thoughtful individual who touched the lives of many with her compassionate nature.
Ellen was a resident of Bonita Springs, Florida, where she spent her final months enjoying the coastal beauty of the area. She was married to her devoted husband, Richard Drabik, for 65 wonderful years. Together, they raised a loving family, including their children Richard (Soula) Drabik and Robin Drabik, as well as their late son, John Drabik. Ellen was also a cherished grandmother to Christina (Marty) Bargo, Anna Drabik, and Tommy Drabik, and a proud great-grandmother to Frankie and Tommy Bargo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Catherine (Novick) Strobo. Ellen is survived by her sisters, Kathie Romano and Carol (Dick) Wentzel.
Ellen had a passion for shelling and walking the beach in Southwest Florida, where she found peace and joy. She was an avid reader and an excellent cook. Ellen was a wonderful wife and mother, a true treasure to her family. For the last 30 years, she and her husband maintained a beach condo in Bonita Springs, becoming full-time residents in the last four months.
Ellen was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed. A celebration of Ellen's life will take place at a later date.
