Born with a sharp intellect and a generous spirit, Gary lived a life defined by success, both in his professional endeavors and in the deep relationships he built with those around him. He grew up in Wichita, Kansas, where he graduated from Kapaun Mount Carmel High School. He went on to pursue his higher education in California, graduating from San Jose State University. He went on to pursue graduate studies at the University of San Francisco.
A remarkably intelligent and driven entrepreneur, Gary's professional legacy was highlighted by his role as a founding principal partner of Ingenium. Yet, despite his many career achievements, it was his profound kindness and loving nature that truly left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Gary found immense joy in the simple, beautiful things in life. He loved the ocean and all the sea life living in it—finding peace in the sound of the waves and the expanse of the water. An avid reader, he possessed a lifelong curiosity and a passion for learning. When he wasn't immersed in a book, Gary could often be found playing his guitar, filling the room with music and sharing his creative warmth with the people he loved.
He was a successful man by every measure, but his greatest achievement was the love and kindness he freely gave to his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his loving spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (Garner); his daughter, Nicole; his parents, Gerald Sr. and Dorothy; and his brothers, Todd (Stephanie) and Randy (Alisa). He also leaves behind numerous loving nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
