

Jean Sheerin was born August 3, 1937 to Katheryn and Ron Ayling, she was 89 years young, 5 foot tall, blue eyes and light brown hair. She passed away August 8, 2026, leaving behind her loving husband Walt with 69 years of marriage; 3 sons Jeff and DeAnna, Jerry and Cindy, Scott and Dana all loved dearly. 7 grandchildren, all close to her heart, Kyler, Ciara, Heather, Matt, Austin, Katelyn, and Stephany, 4 great-grandchildren Ben, Kaylee, Maya, and Camden. Jean had 24 nieces and nephews all had a place in her heart. Also survived by her beloved brother, Robert Ayling and wife Etta and 5 nieces and nephews Chrissy, John, Dan, Nicole and Angie.
Jean and Walt went back and forth from Lansing, Michigan to Bonita Springs, Florida for 30 years and have lived in Bonita Springs for the last 5 years permanently.
They belonged to the Bonita Springs Shell Club and Naples Shell Clubs. Jean and Walt could not wait to go to the beaches to collect seashells almost every day! Jean and Walt made shell flower arrangements and other art crafts with the shells. They entered many shell shows to complete with other shell crafters. They won numerous ribbons and special plaques and awards. Jean had a special talent and had her name on big trophies and special awards. Jean and Walt have many special memories and times spent together doing what they loved.
Most of all Jean's faith in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is how she would want to be remembered. Amen.
