We were saddened to lose Ken, we appreciated his friendship, it was always good to get together with Ken and Connie.  Ken, as Connie, was a most generous person, and he made it possible for us to see the Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum.  I (Bruce) wish that I ha gotten a chance to go fishing with him. I enjoyed his stories and photos of his fishing.  Ken, as well as Connie, was inspiring in his bold witness and gifting people with Christian books.  Ken did an outstanding job arranging for speakers and hosting the Midwest Creation Fellowship meetings. We always appreciated seeing Ken & Connie when they would visit our church.

Recently I realized that Ken had worked on developing lupron for cancer patients. I am a recipient of that, and it is hitting me in a most thankful way.

Here we find the elusive “Log Splitter Ken” in his natural habitat. He loves being in the great outdoors with his trusty chainsaw. Keeping up with his pace was a daunting task. He always amazed me with his ability to remain clean and spotless amidst a pile of saw dust and wood shavings. He is a true professional woods man. Can’t imagine what he’s doing in heaven right now???

John and I were blessed to have joined Ken and Connie in so many life celebrations. This was Ken’s 73rd birthday celebration out at a favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, in 2018.   We were very blessed to have a man like Ken in our lives, and in the future to come.  Ken was a generous, thoughtful, kind, helpful, sincere, deep thinking fisherman and man of God, just to scratch the surface. He will be missed by many!

Ken was my childhood friend (that's him on the far right in case you can't tell).  We went through school together, right through high school. This was "Our Gang," our little rascals group. We would "call" for each other and play. This was at my birthday party. He was a great friend and a kind and thoughtful human being--even as a young boy. My sincere condolences to his family. A dear brother in the Lord, a co-laborer in the gospel, a close associate in career, a great wildlife lover and an avid fisherman who loved Jesus passionately. I will dearly miss his friendship upon his departure into eternity with the Lord.
