He was a proud father and stepfather, as well as a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, whose strength, kindness, and steady presence touched everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary, and his daughter, Leah.
Robert retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated service, a career he took great pride in.
He is survived by his seven living children: Mike (Lynn)Janice (Ken) Kathy; Mark (Gail) Cathi (Keith) Gregg (Judy) and Carla (Mark) He also leaves behind 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister, Marie, and his brother, Sandy.
Robert enjoyed woodworking and spending time on the golf course. Above all, he cherished his family. He will be remembered as a loving and proud father and stepfather, and a great-grandfather whose legacy of love will live on through the many generations he leaves behind.
