

She was born June 16, 1952, in San Jaun, Puerto Rico the daughter of Homer and Helen George.
She graduated from North Tonawanda High School. August 23, 1975, she married Robert J. Lindner.
Valerie worked for 36 years as a dental assistant at Amherst Associates of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
She was passionate about tennis, antiques, boating, fishing, and corvettes. Valerie gave of her time volunteering for many years as a Lee County Tourism Ambassador, Florida State Parks (3000+ hours), Lovers Key State Park fishing clinics (15 years), Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation in Medora, North Dakota. She was a Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP).
Despite living in Clarence Center, New York, most of her life, Valerie’s favorite place in the world was on the beach. This prompted a later in life move to Bonita Springs, FL, where she and Bob were able to enjoy the ocean, sun, and sand every day.
She will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence and easygoing attitude. Valerie could talk with anyone and make them feel immediately comfortable. She will sadly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Helen George, and a sister, Linda Michelle Scinta.
Beloved spouse of Robert J. Lindner for 50 years. Also survived by her brother, David, and sister, Karen, aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
A Celebration of Valerie’s life will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 5:30 PM at Hodges Life Celebration Center, 26051 S. Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. Friends may gather starting at 5 PM and stay to enjoy dinner and drinks after the service. At Valerie’s request please dress casual.
